Another day yields another liberal news story that protects Big Tech from allegations of election interference to benefit the left.

The Orwellian Disinformation Governance Board, also called the Biden administration’s “Ministry of Truth,” is just the latest in a list of eight times that government has wielded tech to target Americans invasively.

Dozens of Democrats demanded that Google stop collecting location data so that women can abort their babies without getting in trouble.

Google announced Wednesday that it launched “Google Pay,” a system that enhanced the company’s program that accepted payments virtually. TechCrunch reported that Google had the “Google Wallet” for years, but a company spokesperson said the “Google Pay” app allowed consumers to store more personal information digitally, including credit cards. 

A leftist group posted home addresses of six right-leaning Supreme Court justices but hasn’t been restricted by any major social media sites. The doxxing attack appears to violate several site policies such as harassment and sharing content that reveals others’ private information.

Three powerhouse conservative political groups are pushing the Federal Election Commission to look into alleged Google email censorship. The Republican National Committee (RNC), National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), and National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC) filed a joint complaint with the FEC.

The U.S. government targeted undercover journalism outfit Project Veritas, including through secret orders to Apple, Google and Microsoft, Reclaim The Net reported.

Research from N.C. State University indicated that Google’s anti-spam algorithm overwhelmingly labeled emails from right-wing candidates as “spam.” The paper, titled A Peek into the Political Biases in Email Spam Filtering Algorithms During US Election 2020, said Google was biased against the Right, while Microsoft’s Outlook and Yahoo leaned right.

Google threatened to demonetize publishers for “dissent" on Ukraine. Publishers received a message from Google warning that it would not monetize content that “exploits, dismisses, or condones” the war in Ukraine.

Google finally added a mention of Donald Trump’s presidency to his “about” section on the search results page. The change came months after MRC Free Speech America exclusively reported that former President Donald Trump was one of only two U.S. presidents with no acknowledgement of his presidential status in his Google “about” section.

Big Tech faced yet another blow from the Department of Justice. Originally reported by The Wall Street Journal, the DOJ sent letters to members of the congressional judiciary committees and asked them to support an antitrust bill that prevented Big Tech companies from showing favoritism to their own products.
