All Things Considered

On Monday night's All Things Considered newscast, co-host Mary Louise Kelly covered the indictment of Trump as a serious conundrum for the media. Kelly brought on NPR vice president and executive editor Terence Samuel to think out loud about how the coverage might disappoint the audience. They will have reporters everywhere, but NO Trump statements live! 

On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee held its first hearing of the new Congress with Attorney General Merrick Garland. It was a rock-em, sock-em grilling by Senate Republicans, but NPR fervently avoided a story on it. But they found time for a four-minute story on a man setting a Guinness World Record for Disneyland visits, and eight minutes on "how curry took over the world."

Leftists like the ones at National Public Radio think it's super-kooky to compare Barack Obama or Joe Biden to communists, but apparently it's just "news" to let leftists compare Ron DeSantis to Fidel Castro. On Thursday's bizarrely named All Things Considered, there was another completely one-sided story ripping DeSantis.

NPR sounds like State-Run Radio when they bring on radical anti-capitalists and then argue in favor of the Biden administration. On Valentine's Day, All Things Considered anchor Ailsa Chang begged 20-year-old Swedish climate extremist Greta Thunberg to understand the Democrats are trying to save the planet the way she wants.

The high-dollar advertisements on Fox’s broadcast of Super Bowl 57 were pretty light and humorous, except for the dead-serious black-and-white messages pushing the message “Jesus: He Gets Us.” The liberals at CNN and NPR freaked out, and AOC cried "fascism."

As Christmas nears and the year comes to a close, NPR's Mara Liasson grew warm and fuzzy about Joe Biden's legacy, living up to his promises of bipartisanship and creating a "pretty respectable list of accomplishments." Is this news, or advertising? At NPR, it's tickling the tummies of its Democrat listeners and donors.

Their headline at NPR.org was "Newt Gingrich thinks the GOP needs to stop underestimating Biden." On the terribly titled All Things Considered on Saturday night, NPR weekend anchor Michel Martin explored threats to journalists and journalism with liberal Washington Post columnist Margaret Sullivan, who just left the paper. They began with the killing of Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German by a Democrat...and they never mentioned the Democrat part. 

The Washington Post reported President Biden invited in a pack of liberal historians to advise him on the sad state of American democracy, still in darkness as if Trump never left Washington. National Public Radio found a space to criticize this liberal meeting -- because it seemed racist. Their headline? "Historians advise the president. The problem? The scholars were all white."

Taxpayer-funded National Public Radio hates the conservative media. They will latch on to a cranky ex-prime minister of Australia to spread their hate.
