ABC

In 2022 when NewsBusters first counted the legal notes being delivered by ABC’s The View, we found that they were forced to issue exactly three dozen (36) of them. A lot can change in two and a half years. The View has issued exactly ZERO legal notes, thus far in 2025. That’s despite the fact that there was more than enough need for them.

This week, major news outlets like ABC and MSNBC have been up in arms over a recent instance of a model doing her job, which was of course, modeling. Calls of “white supremacist dog whistles” and “Nazi propaganda” were the topics of legacy media over a recent American Eagle ad involving actress Sydney Sweeney and her “great jeans genes” play on words.

On July 18, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified bombshell findings about the role of the Obama administration played in late 2016 and early 2017 to manufacture the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Unsurprisingly, ABC, CBS, and NBC — which spent 2,284 minutes on their flagship evening newscasts salivating over every turn — have spent only two minutes and 17 seconds on…

The legacy media continue their five-alarm firefighting of the damning revelations contained within the Russia Hoax document drop, as published by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. ABC’s Jon Karl joins the fray in a wild segment with corporate cousin Stephen A. Smith of ESPN.

Over at Newsmax (and full disclosure I am a Newsmax contributor), evening anchor Rob Schmidt did a spot-on analysis of the media’s coverage of the so-called “Russia-Trump” collusion.

CBS canceled Stephen Colbert’s late-night show. Democrat Minnesota Gov. and failed vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz, who recently appeared on the show, said: “Stephen Colbert is the best in the business. He always told truth to power and pulled no punches. We need more of that, not less.” You might be forgiven for thinking Colbert’s job is to tell jokes. Some Democrats in full meltdown…

POLL: What was the worst media take of the week? (Vote below!)

Pro wrestling icon Hulk Hogan passed away today and evening news coverage was mixed, at best. The legacy networks played up Hogan’s racial incident and politics while mostly minimizing or outright omitting his role in the lawsuit that resulted in the bankruptcy of Gawker.

It was a perfect storm of miscommunication. On Thursday, ABC News co-host Joy Behar sparked speculation that The View was cancelled after she accidentally announced that they were soon to start their summer “hiatus,” which had been kept close to the chest. The announcement was made off the cuff and came mere hours after President Trump had suggested the show was in danger of cancelation and…

The legacy media evening news, in their role as purveyors of anti-news, have reverted to blacking out instances of criminal illegal alien activity. Case in point: the shooting of an off-duty Customs and Border Protection officer.

As NewsBusters has documented in recent days, ABC News program, The View had made some pretty incendiary and heinous accusations against President Trump; accusing of everything from “crimes against humanity” to “treason.” The White House had apparently had enough, because in a statement to Fox News on Wednesday, the administration called out the show and warned them to straighten up before…

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard coming to the White House podium and directly briefing the media on details of the declassification of materials related to the Russia Hoax and laying out a conspiracy to undermine the incoming administration. The legacy newscasts chose, yet again, to mostly run away from the story.

The liberal ladies of ABC’s The View were up in arms Wednesday over President Trump accusing former President Obama of “treason” in regard to the Russia Collusion Hoax. Co-host Joy Behar went so far as to demand that Trump be sued for “defamation” over it. An interesting demand considering that The View had accused Trump of treason several times over the years (particularly Behar herself).

President Donald Trump’s Oval Office remarks today forced the legacy media into covering the Russia Hoax document drop on their nightly newscasts. As predicted, the legacies Trumpwashed the story. As expected, the narrative congealed once former President Barack Obama’s office weighed in.
