Keller Confesses: NYT Leans Left, But Fairness Is 'Tedious

Former New York Times executive editor Bill Keller confessed to liberal bias at the Times, especially on social issues like gay marriage and the recent contraception debate, but defended it, saying “if we somehow achieved absolute objectivity, it would be kind of tedious to read,” and that "Watching The New York Times try to be even-handed on some issues is like trying to watch somebody dance…

WashPost Website: Black Pastors Against Same-Sex Marriage on 'Wrong Si

Apparently the Washington Post's website editors have little patience for African-American ministers who pledge fidelity to the Bible over that to their usual political allies like Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D). "Black pastors take heat over stance against Maryland gay-marriage bill," reads a teaser headline on the washingtonpost.com front page. "As Maryland legislature passes bill,…

ABC Shills for Obama: Blame the Oil Speculators and Not the President

ABC on Thursday and Friday hyped the idea, pushed by Nancy Pelosi, that oil speculators on Wall Street are to blame for high gas prices, citing a "top government watchdog." Of course, the network neglected to inform viewers that Bart Chilton, who is a commissioner on the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, is an ex-Democratic staffer. On Friday, Good Morning America's Josh Elliott…

Piers Morgan Asks Canadian-born Jennifer Granholm to Consider Running

On Thursday night’s Piers Morgan Tonight, host Piers Morgan ended his fluffy interview with former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D) by encouraging her to run for higher office.   The interview started off in typical Morgan fashion with the former editor of the left-wing Daily Mirror newspaper distorting the facts on the auto bailout in reference to an interview New Jersey Gov. Chris…

WashPost Hails MSNBC's Newest Leftist Host as 'A Black Feminist, Anti

How left-wing is The Washington Post? That they devote a large chunk of Friday’s Style section to a column by Anna Holmes celebrating MSNBC’s appointment of radical leftist Melissa Harris-Perry as a weekend talk-show host. It’s quite hilarious that Holmes never quite places Harris-Hyphen on the left, or mentions her regular column in the hard-left magazine The Nation, and quotes a bevy of left-…
