No Memorial Day for Inner-City Dead
"Black lives matter!" was the chant heard at recent demonstrations in cities and towns from Ferguson, Missouri, to Baltimore, Maryland. Yes, they do matter, but apparently not so much to some other blacks. Only when a white police officer shoots or engages in other behavior that results in the death of a black man do black lives seem to matter.

Bill Clinton's Shell Company? Weapons Deals for Donors? Nets Yawn
All three networks on Wednesday morning ignored the latest questions to hit the Clintons and their foundation. The Associated Press reported on Tuesday that "newly released financial files on Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton's growing fortune omit a company with no apparent employees or assets that the former president has legally used to provide consulting and other services."

Tom Steyer Tells PBS He's 'David' Standing Against Koch 'Goliath'
Apparently Tom Steyer knows his Bible better than he knows math. Or perhaps he just hasn't had a heart to heart with his accountant in several years.
Liberal climate change activist and political donor Tom Steyer likened himself to David, fighting against the "Goliath" of conservative political donors, in a May 26 interview with PBS NewsHour. He lamented, "when you look at the relatie dollars,…

NBC, ABC Ignore Court Ruling Against Obama Immigration Amnesty Order
In November of 2014 all three broadcast networks hailed President Obama’s executive order granting amnesty to illegal immigrants. However, following Tuesday’s decision by the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals to refuse lifting a stay on the controversial order, the NBC and ABC morning shows both ignored the ruling, with Wednesday’s CBS This Morning providing a mere 17 seconds of coverage.

Lefty Bloggers: Case Against Obamacare ‘Idiotic,’ ‘Preposterous’
Tuesday’s New York Times piece on how the problematic phrase “established by the state” got into and stayed in the Affordable Care Act provoked a great many blasts from lefty bloggers at the plaintiffs’ case in King v. Burwell. Two especially heated posts came from MSNBC’s Steve Benen and Esquire’s Charles Pierce.
Benen, a producer for The Rachel Maddow Show and the primary writer for the show’s…

CBS Highlights Liberals vs. Conservatives 10-1 as Graduation Speakers
Yes, on America’s college campuses, liberal commencement speakers outnumber conservatives (it would be shocking if they didn’t.) But not by the margin CBS would have viewers believe.
During CBS Evening News on May 26, host Scott Pelley played different clips of university commencement speakers offering advice to the class of 2015. Beginning with Bon Jovi and finishing with Bill Nye, “The Science…

Social conservative-haters in the liberal media are sharpening their knives today as Rick Santorum is set to announce his 2016 presidential ambitions. From his arrival to the Senate in 1995 through his 2012 presidential run the media have attacked the former Pennsylvania Republican Senator as a “terrifying” “theocrat” who wants to impose a “Christian version of Sharia law.”

WashPost Promotes the 'Evolution' of 'Forsaking Monogamy'
Washington Post reporter Caitlin Dewey’s beat is the Internet. But her big piece on the front page of Wednesday’s Style section is about something broader: “Forsaking monogamy: The evolution of relationships has made affairs less clandestine and less combustive. And of course there are Web sites to help match tryst-seekers.”
This being the Post, there is no space for critics of the "evolution"…

Bozell & Graham Column: Virginia's False 'Centrist' Advertising
The latest scorecard from the American Conservative Union is out, and the voters of Virginia might want to file a complaint about truth in advertising with the press corps. Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner have routinely been portrayed in news reports as “moderates” and “centrists.” But after two years in the Senate, Tim Kaine has a perfect zero on the conservative scale. Mark Warner has a…

'Hardball' Panel Uses Irish Approval of Same-Sex Marriage to Blast GOP
Irish voters' approval of same-sex marriage via ballot referendum on Friday proved the perfect excuse for Hardball host Chris Matthews to bash Republican presidential contenders for their steadfast support for traditional marriage and criticism of judicial activism in redefining the institution.
For what it's worth, Matthews and his panelists all but smeared Ireland as, well, backwards for…
