Rachel Maddow Rants Against Michigan Conscience Measure, Calls It 'Rap
MSNBC's Rachel Maddow launched a crusade on Wednesday night against a Michigan measure that would prevent the public from having to cover abortion in insurance plans. Maddow joined state Democrats and called the bill the "rape insurance" bill.
"Your insurance cannot even cover you getting an abortion if you got pregnant because you were raped. That's why the law's opponents are calling it…

NBC Ignores Own Poll Showing Obama's Approval Rating at All-Time Low
NBC ignored its own poll Wednesday evening that had President Obama at an all-time low approval rating.
Obama received just 41 percent approval and 54 percent disapproval in the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, but NBC only reported the findings on Wednesday morning's Today show in a news brief. NBC ignored that ObamaCare's approval was also underwater.

Blackout: Networks Ignore GOP Bellwether Victory
After a Republican won a bellweather election in Florida on Tuesday night, the networks made no mention of it on Wednesday evening. That came after they gave a pittance of coverage to the victory on Wednesday morning.
CBS was the only network to report on the race Tuesday evening, but even they were nowhere to be seen the night after. Correspondent Nancy Cordes had made it clear Tuesday that…

CBS Hypes That Millions 'Stand to Benefit' From Obama's Attempt to Byp
CBS was the only network on Wednesday evening to report President Obama's plan to bypass Congress and force businesses to pay employees extra for overtime work. NBC and ABC both ignored the news.
Yet CBS reported the news in a positive manner, noting how "an estimated 10 million workers stand to benefit from the President's plan." White House correspondent Major Garrett said it was "part of…

NPR, WashPost Celebrate Anti-Palin Author in Obits -- Although His Pal
Leftist author Joe McGinniss drew several more warm obituaries from the national media. In Wednesday’s Washington Post, on the front of the Style section Gene Weingarten began with a gush: “Joe McGinniss, author of one of the best nonfiction books ever written, died yesterday.”
NPR media reporter David Folkenflik filed an entire story on McGinniss (and it was no Harold Simmons hatchet job on…

Coulter Column: The Conservative Case for Mitch McConnell
When I wrote a book about mobs and group-think a few years ago, I could honestly say that mob behavior existed exclusively on the left in America -- unless you count Oakland Raiders tailgate parties, which I do not. As described in "Demonic: How the Liberal Mob Is Endangering America," the distinctive characteristics of the mob mentality include:

You'll Never Guess Which MSNBC Anchor Sounds Like a Birther
MSNBC hosts have been obsessed with exposing conservative birtherism. Chris Matthews has been particularly fierce in excoriating anyone who suggests that the President was born in another country. (His birthplace is Hawaii.) So, will Matthews go after a new cable anchor who traveled to Kenya to talk about the President?
This anchor asserted, "We've heard about President Obama's poll numbers…

Minn. College Blacklisting 'Oppressive' Words Like 'Crazy,' 'You Guys
Kat Timpf over at Campus Reform has another great story out today exposing loopy leftism in academia.
It turns out words that you and I think are perfectly innocuous, like "crazy" and "you guys" are insulting to the mentally ill and women, respectively, according to Minnesota's Macalester College (excerpt below page break; emphasis mine):

Ed Schultz on 2016 Race: Hillary Has All But Won - and Cheney Will Run
No, "I'm not off my rocker," Ed Schultz told his radio listeners after making an off-the-wall prediction. Actually, two predictions -- that Hillary Clinton is a virtual shoo-in who will waltz back into the White House, and that Dick Cheney will cave to pressure from movement conservatives and run for president.
As for the first prediction, I vaguely recall many pundits saying much along the…

Colbert to Ronan Farrow: You’re So Young ‘You Could Actually Still
MSNBC’s newest liberal darling Ronan Farrow paid a visit to Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” on Tuesday night, and the daytime MSNBC host was hilariously mocked by the liberal comedian during the entire segment.
Throughout the interview, Colbert repeatedly poked fun at Farrow and his liberal MSNBC network, going so far as to tell his guest at age 26 “You could actually still be on your…

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Compares Dick Cheney to ‘Villain’ From
MSNBC’s primetime darling Rachel Maddow has an obsession with attacking conservatives, especially if they are associated with the presidency of George W. Bush. Whether it’s using her nightly program or her appearances across the NBC platform, Maddow seems to never miss an opportunity to attack former Bush officials.
Appearing as a guest on the company's Late Night w/ Seth Meyers on Tuesday…

Column: Stormtroopers, a Wookiee, and CPAC
OXON HILL, Md. -- The first "people" I recognized on arriving at last week's Conservative Political Action Committee gathering just outside Washington were two "stormtroopers" and a Wookiee from the 1977 film "Star Wars."
Some of the speeches also expressed sentiments from the past, though not as cleverly as those in costume: Obama is a bad president, even a bad man. America looks weak before…

[Update, 3:45 pm Eastern: Cuomo angrily responds to NewsBusters; see below.]
On Wednesday's New Day, CNN's Chris Cuomo played up how Florida Republican David Jolly's campaign played The Price Is Right theme music at his victory rally on Tuesday, and remarked that its use was somehow a perfect sign of the influence of big money in political races: "What a metaphor for what politics has become…
