ABC's 'Blackish' Delves Into Religion, and it's Actually Not Awful

Blackish actually did a great job dealing with not only racial differences between whites and blacks, and the different kinds of churches they attend, but also just the drama and guilt that surrounds normal people and prevents them from getting to church on Sunday.

CNN Hypes: Hillary's ‘Battle Tested’ in Hearings with 'Steady Nerves'

Previewing Hillary Clinton’s testimony Thursday morning before the House Select Committee on Benghazi, CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 did their best on Wednesday to paint the most flattering picture possible of Clinton being “battle tested” with “steady nerves” despite “withering attacks” and the ability to turn “even a hot seat, if not comfortable, at least cooler.”

Networks Delighted for Hillary That Biden's Not Running for President

Hours after Vice President Joe Biden decided that he would not launch a presidential campaign, the major broadcast networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC largely welcomed on Wednesday night Biden’s decision as it stands to benefit Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton one day before her testimony to the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

Lefty Pundit: We Need the Gun-Control Equivalent of Obamacare

Liberals, hinted Waldman in a Monday American Prospect column, need to remember that the legislative journey of a thousand miles begins with a few steps. Waldman acknowledged that even if “modest gun control” measures such as expanded background checks were to pass, the U.S. would “still have more gun deaths than any other industrialized country,” but that’d be better than the status quo.…

HuffPost's Fineman: Biden Won't Endorse Hillary Until Convention Time

Vice President Joe Biden will wait quite some time until he formally endorses Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton, possibly even waiting until the last minute at the Democratic convention itself. That was the prediction of veteran political journalist and Huffington Post Media Group editorial director Howard Fineman on the October 21 edition of MSNBC's Hardball. For her part, moderately…

Politico Slams Ben Carson, Brain-Damaged Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

Roger Simon is “chief political columnist” at Politico, which means that the “chief” opinion there truly and deeply resides in the land of Democratic hackdom. This is the gentle soul who landed in our Best of Notable Quotables 2013 for writing “Question: If Ted Cruz and John Boehner were both on a sinking ship, who would be saved? Answer: America.” In the latest installment of sour Simon, Ben…

'Back to the Future' Writer Claims Biff Tannen Based on Donald Trump

Did you see Marty McFly and Doc Brown materialize today in a DeLorean car? Remember, today is October 21, 2015, the same day the two time travelled here in "Back to the Future II." If they did arrive today, I am sure they would be disappointed to see no hover boards. However, the good news for them is that they could easily conjure up a video of Marty McFly on a hover board simply by viewing the…

AP Fails to Note 21,000 Jobs Lost in Government's State Jobs Report

On October 2, the government's Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that U.S. payroll employment increased in September by a seasonally adjusted 142,000 jobs. That was disappointing enough, but then the BLS's regional and state report for September released on Tuesday showed a combined total of 21,000 jobs lost in all 50 states and DC. In his coverage of the state report, the Associated Press's…

How the Liberal/Progressive Vision of Society Is Incredibly Myopic

Maybe liberals and progressives are making the argument that government is no longer a threat to our liberties and hence there is no longer a need to be able to protect ourselves. I'd like to see their evidence.

Alan Colmes: Ben Carson is Popular Because American Voters Are Stupid

Converse with a liberal and it's only a matter of time, usually not very long, before he starts bashing those unevolved miscreants known as fellow Americans. Just as predictable is the same liberal shortly thereafter praising Americans for their keen perception in sharing his political views.

David Daleiden Says CMP ‘More Transparent’ with Video Edits than CNN

When it comes to editing and video production, the Center for Medical Progress is “more transparent” than CNN, according to the maker of the undercover Planned Parenthood videos. During Anderson Cooper 360 on Oct. 19, CNN’s Drew Griffin interrogated Center for Medical Progress (CMP) Project Lead David Daleiden over his videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s harvesting of aborted baby parts. In the…

Gay Sportswriter Beclowns Himself While Insulting Christian Mets Star

Jim Buzinski, co-founder of Outsports.com and a gay man, lashed out at Murphy in a very silly column where he attacked the Mets infielder’s “Christian lifestyle,” in response to Murphy’s statement from earlier in the year that he disagrees with the “homosexual lifestyle.”

Shocker: ABC Offers Positive Portrait of ‘Amazing’ Ben Carson

What’s going on here? Good Morning America, somehow, aired a shockingly positive portrayal of Ben Carson on Wednesday, promoting the Republican as “amazing” and having a “resume like no other candidate.” This is quite a change from ABC’s previous attacks on Carson.
