At long last, a legacy network newscast mentioned the post-2016 intelligence assessment on Russian election interference that is the subject of the explosive declassified document publication by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. Unfortunately, the mention was not in reference to these revelations, but in continued service of the now amply debunked Russian Collusion Hoax.

It was another banner news suppression day for the legacy network evening newscasts. In addition to their continued non-coverage of the Biden autopen scandal and of the explosive Russia Hoax document drop, the legacies mostly suppressed the revealing interview of one Robert Hunter Biden.

Between Monday night and Tuesday afternoon, liberal TV networks and streaming platforms went to bat in some horribly misleading and embarrassing lengths for their comrades in bias PBS and NPR amid the expected Senate vote this week on a rescission package to claw back $1 billion in funding for the far-left outlets. As the legacy media continue to demonstrate, their role in helping to cover President Joe Biden’s physical, mental and cognitive decline from the American public is a decidedly uncomfortable matter. Case in point: CBS and ABC omitting from their newscasts that Biden’s doctor, when asked about that very real and evident decline, took the Fifth before the House Oversight Committee.

NBC Nightly News has fully jumped into the immigration wars, and taken a side. In a report more in place at corporate partner Telemundo, NBC is now whining over a new migrant detention facility set to open in Florida, dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz” due to its proximity to the Everglades and its variety of reptilian apex predators.

On Monday, the “Big Three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC took to their flagship evening newscasts to provide further air cover for the pro-illegal immigrant rioters in Los Angeles, bemoaning the raids on “unauthorized immigrants” last week as having created another chapter in the “contentious and polarizing debate over immigration policy.”

NBC Nightly News was the only legacy media evening newscast to air an item on the investigation into the use of the autopen during the Biden Administration. But, in what could be an early sign of what to expect in the Tom Llamas Era, the purpose of the report was to firefight the allegations rather than air them.

The legacy media generally love to report on perceived palace intrigue and betrayal, unless the intrigue happens within a Democrat White House. Then, it’s all quiet on the Leftern Front. NBC’s reporting on the new book by former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is the exception.

If an insurrection dropped in a tony San Diego neighborhood and no legacy media covered it, did it really happen? With the exception of NBC Nightly News, this seems to be the working assumption among the legacy media evening newscasts.
