On Saturday, NBC’s Today show actually devoted an entire report to how voters in key swing states were suffering from “impeachment fatigue.” The segment highlighted “concerned” Democrats fearing the attempted removal of President Trump from office was “overshadowing” the 2020 campaign, while Republicans were found to be more energized heading into the election.

After Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s master plan to delay the Senate impeachment trial ended in failure after a month, House Democrats finally got up and walked the articles of impeachment against President Trump over to the Senate for trial. It was that transfer of documents that had the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) all giddy with anticipation during their Wednesday evening newscasts.

No, this is not a joke or an attempt at rick-rolling. The Monday morning broadcast network newscasts actually put away their usual gun control talking points after a mass shooting and emphasized how armed citizens prevented a deadly scene from becoming worse. In this case, it was Sunday’s attack on West Freeway Church of Christ outside Fort Worth, Texas.

On Tuesday, NBC’s Today show and ABC’s Good Morning America both worked to portray House Democrats backing impeachment as courageous politicians “putting principle before politics” rather than as partisans trying to appease the far left of their party.

As Speaker Nancy Pelosi was exiting a Thursday press conference after announcing she had directed her chairmen to draw up articles of impeachment, Sinclair reporter James Rosen questioned her on whether or not she felt “hate” towards President Trump. Her anger flared as she lashed out in response (something they would have condemned President Trump for). It was that irate response that drew the attention of CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News as they both hyped it as something awesome.

The first thing the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) did when they began their Wednesday evening newscasts, was lionize the so-called “constitutional scholars” handpicked by the Democrats to trumpet impeachment as even and unbiased professionals. In reality, they were far from it, with most giving money to Democratic campaigns and palling around in radical liberal circles.

OnOne of the biggest headlines to come of the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment hearing on Wednesday was Democrat witness and Stanford University Law professor Pamela Karlan lashing at President Trump’s 13-year old son Barron. It was a vile attack that went completely unmentioned by the impeachment seekers on CBS Evening News. Meanwhile, ABC’s World News Tonight called the attack witty and NBC Nightly News edited out the backhanded comment out of Karlan’s so-called “apology.”

Despite the fact that House Republicans on the Intelligence Committee released their impeachment findings a full day ahead of Democrats, the liberal broadcast networks granted their team 10 times the coverage in just one evening. ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News granted the GOP report a measly 54 seconds of combined airtime. NBC actually ignored the GOP report during their Tuesday newscast.

The liberal broadcast networks seemed in good spirits Thursday evening following the final day of televised impeachment hearings. Their jubilation came as part of a moment during the testimony of former White House Ukraine adviser Dr. Fiona Hill supposedly “blasting Republicans for spreading a conspiracy theory about Ukraine interfering in the 2016 election,” as NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt suggested.

Despite how they were dismissive of his truthfulness prior to Wednesday and the fact that he could not directly implicate President Trump in a quid pro quo scheme with Ukraine, ABC, CBS, and NBC heralded the public testimony of E.U. Ambassador Gordon Sondland as a “bombshell” from “the most pivotal witness yet.”

As if he was the hero they needed to vanquish their nemesis, the liberal media fell in love with the public impeachment testimony of White House Ukraine adviser Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman. All three of the major broadcast networks kicked off their evening newscasts with gushy reports touting his role in the day-long marathon of impeachment hearings. Surprisingly, NBC Nightly News was the one network to include some of the questions about Vindman’s testimony and phone call narrative.

Following Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Thursday morning press conference in which she accused President Trump of “bribery,” the broadcast networks spent the next 24 hours featuring the term 43 times in evening and morning show coverage. All of it designed to boost the impeachment crusade against Trump.
