While the military is focused on foreign objects flying over American and Canadian territory, a more disturbing threat to our national security is occurring on the ground. Federal, state and local governments are behind in their response to the acquisition of American land by people and companies associated with the Chinese government.

On Katie Phang's MSNBC show, Michael Cohen, former personal lawyer to Donald Trump turned Trump antagonist, says the real national security threat to the US is not Chinese balloons, but classified documents in the possession of Trump, whom Cohen calls a "sociopath."

Despite approval ratings that show him to be way underwater, Mika Brzezinski claims that President Biden is "extremely well-liked," adding, "they kind of like Joe Biden! They kind of like him!"

Monday’s White House press briefing largely revolved around President Biden’s State of the Union preparations and, as part of that, The New York Times’s Michael Shear surprisingly trotted out a brutal line of questioning that pressed the ever-inept Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on the reality that Democrats didn’t win the midterms because President Biden but in spite of him.

The corporate media on Monday rushed to the defense of President Biden, after his administration waited a full week to shoot down a Chinese spy balloon that flew over the continental U.S. last week.
