When the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down nearly 1,200 points on Monday, the three major network news outlets (ABC, CBS, and NBC) dedicated nearly 10 minutes of combined coverage to the drop when they began their evening broadcasts. 24 hours later, the market bounced back and closed with a 500-point rebound, but the networks spent roughly half as much time on the positive news.

During a panel discussion on Inside Politics Tuesday, host John King criticized the President for referring to the Democrats as “treasonous” and “un-American” for not applauding during his State of the Union speech. King seemed to forget that less than a year ago, he himself carelessly tossed around the word “treasonous” when discussing a member of the Trump administration.

With the Dow Jones Industrial Average taking another nosedive on Monday, the MRC’s Rich Noyes joined Neil Cavuto’s eponymous Fox Business Network program to discuss the findings of a study by MRC Business’s Julia Seymour that found a massive double standard from the major broadcast networks on stock market increases vs. tumbles.

On Saturday's Fox & Friends, syndicated columnist and investigative reporter Michelle Malkin sharply criticized the establishment press's sharp U-turn on law-enforcement transparency from George W. Bush's presidency. She in effect observed that one of the key reasons for the current "stonewall media" environment is self-protection.

Since the release of the bombshell House Intelligence Committee memo detailing alleged misconduct by the FBI and the DOJ to obtain warrants through a FISA court, the liberal media have been focused on combating President Trump and the GOP for releasing the memo instead of the contents within it. A clear demonstration of this occurred during NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday where moderator Chuck Todd was receptive to attacks against the memo but aggressively pushed back against supporters.

The knives came out on ABC during their Sunday morning programming as they made President Trump and the GOP the target of their hyperbolic smear campaign following the release of the House Intelligence Committee memo detailing alleged misconduct by the FBI and Justice Department. And at one point during This Week, host George Stephanopoulos and Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz suggested that the “discord” and “mistrust” sowed by Republicans was ultimately helping Russian President Vladimir Putin.

So-called fact-checking website PolitiFact proved just how much of a hack organization they were on Thursday when they announced that they were hiring former Florida Congressmen David Jolly (R) and the infamous Alan Grayson (D). The backlash was swift and came from across the political spectrum, especially for Greyson. The backlash was even present on HLN’s S.E. Cupp Unfiltered where Cupp and TV’s Andy Levy hilariously mocked the “fact-checker” for hiring the “Archduke” of lying.

Since the House Intelligence Committee, chaired by Congressman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), voted on Monday to release a memo detailing alleged misconduct and legal abuses by the FBI, the three major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) have been acting like the mouthpiece for the Democratic Party. Between January 29, when the vote was held, and February 1, the networks dedicated roughly three and a half times the coverage to worries about releasing the memo than the allegations against the FBI than its purported contents.

Following up his statement blasting the liberal media’s reaction to the State of the Union, MRC President Brent Bozell told the Fox Business Network’s Liz MacDonald on Thursday night that President Trump “hit three home runs” talking about America in the mold of Ronald Reagan while Democrats and the media condemned it because “they hate” and “despise him.”

With Tuesday’s State of the Union well-received by the public (and not the liberal media), it was time to move on and back to spreading fake news, attacking Christians, and hurling around tired insults. Luckily for the Resistance, Wednesday’s Hardball accomplished just that thanks to four cringe-worthy moments featuring host Chris Matthews and a team of liberal guests and journalists.

ABC News continued their anti-Trump meltdown over the President's State of the Union speech into Wednesday evening as they seemed to praise Democrats who were seen childishly pouting during the address. And after the liberal media freaked out over Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) shouting “you lie” at President Obama during the 2009 joint session of Congress, ABC seemed impressed with Democrats who were protesting the President and loudly booed him.

What on earth is wrong with people? Instead of celebrating an adoptive couple’s touching story, highlighted at the State of the Union, some media began a rumor that the parents coerced one mother to hand them her child. And, as they bashed the president for not saying more, they themselves left out key details.
