HuffPost Blogger Says Trump Supporters ‘Deserve to Die More Than I Do'

Here’s a new item for the “Just When You Thought You’d Seen It All Department.” The left-wing Huffington Post website recently deleted a blog in which the author actually “fantasized about the deaths of Donald Trump supporters” because they “deserve to die more than I do.”

Written by contributor Chris Call, the item began by stating: “So we all woke up to the news on Thursday that our chocolate cake enthusiast turned commander-in-chief dropped the ‘mother of all bombs’ on an ISIS {Islamic State of Iraq and Syria] tunnel complex in Afghanistan.”

“As of now,” he continued in a post only available as an archive, “no word yet on how many innocent civilians the biggest non-nuclear bomb, which has never before been used in combat, obliterated.”

Call then noted:

As the world seems more and more perched on the precipice of a major military conflict, and perhaps even the dawn of this “nuclear winter” we’ve all heard so much about over the years, I find myself contemplating a few things.

Will my down parka be enough for this nuclear winter, or should I buy a new pair of long johns?

“But in all seriousness,” he noted, “the thought of a world in which mentally unstable dictators are hurling nuclear warheads at one another is pretty terrifying, especially if you’re a person like me, who lives in a major U.S. city.

“San Francisco might not be at the top of the target list,” Call asserted, “but I’m betting it’s higher up than some s**thole town in Nebraska.”

“In fact,” Call noted, “the majority of states where Trump supporters continue to wear their red “MAGA” (Make American Great Again) caps and give a solid thumbs up to the putrid dumpster fire of an administration he’s been running so far don’t contain a single town where a ‘radical Islamic terrorist’ would even stop to take a s**t in a Walmart bathroom, let alone one that a crazed North Korean leader would want to nuke into oblivion.“

“If the bombs start dropping, it’ll be on cities like New York, Los Angeles, … maybe even Miami,” he continued. “The first Americans to be vaporized or poisoned with radiation in the coming nuclear war will be the ones who tried to stop this crazy train from leaving the station.”

“All those aforementioned cities are filled with people who overwhelmingly voted against giving this 70-year-old man-child who hasn’t yet mastered the art of forming complete sentences the nuclear codes,” Call stated. “I sure would feel better having a president who at least picks a lie and really commits to it.”

Trump voters “also continue to overwhelmingly support this man after numerous botched attempts at following through on some of his basic campaign promises and blatant disregard or flip-flopping on others,” the contributor added.

“Do I think that all Trump supporters are virulent white supremacists burning crosses on the lawns of Black folks and immigrants?” he asked.

“No, of course not,” Call stated. “But if at one point I was nearly convinced to feel compassion toward people who voted against my interests, what am I to make of people who are so willfully ignorant and bigoted that they cheerfully vote against their own?”

At that point, he started shooting with both barrels against “a pretty significant number of these people [who] aren’t only ignorant, they’re proud of it. They revel in it. They want you to know how much they hate immigrants and Blacks and Jews and gays and women and trans people in public bathrooms.”

Call then claimed:

The majority of people I know who live in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco want to leave the world a better place than they found it.

They don’t want endless wars to line the pockets of billionaires and they damn sure don’t want a nuclear winter to make our planet some post-apocalyptic nightmare. So they try to live their lives in such a way that isn’t consumed by hatred and bigotry.

The writer then finally came to the point of his item: Trump supporters "are the people who deserve to have their towns annihilated. These people are who actually deserve to die in a war that they’ll line up to support. Not my ass. I have a lot to live for. They’ve already decided that they don’t.”

This column is almost as bizarre as another item taken down from the Huffington Post site by Shelley Garland in which the black woman called for “redistribution of global assets to their rightful owners” or taking everything away from all white men and giving it to everybody else.

Apparently, you know your opinion is too liberal when even the Huffington Post takes it down.
