Bob Beckel Mangles RNC Chairman's Name Into Vulgarity, Accuses Him of Lying

Tuesday was just another day for “The Five,” the boisterous discussion panel program on the Fox News Channel, until liberal pundit Bob Beckel sank to a new low by referring to the Republican National Chairman's name -- Reince Preibus -- with a vulgar word for a particular part of a woman's body.

The incident occurred when “Five” co-host Eric Bolling referred to an upcoming e-book entitled “Obama’s Last Stand” that's being produced by the Politico.com website and indicates President Obama intensely dislikes former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

Beckel joined the discussion by stating that he could understand if the president dislikes his GOP counterpart.

"I think when [Obama] started out, he was neutral about Mitt Romney, and frankly, so was I,” he said. “I thought he was a nice guy.”

I've come to believe he is a terrible -- well, I won't say liar, I wont diminish myself to where Republicans or free pussy or prepus-- .”.

"Let's move on!" Bolling declared as co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle covered her face to hide her laughter.

Video of Beckel's vulgarity is below:

Interestingly, Priebus was a guest on ABC's “This Week” just two days earlier, and during his interview, he called Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) a "dirty liar" for claiming Mitt Romney has not paid his taxes for more than a decade.

Reid made the claim in an interview last month, saying a Bain Capital investor had told him about the lack of Romney's tax payments.

Now, do I know that that's true? Well, I'm not certain, but obviously, he can't release those tax returns. How would it look?

"His poor father must be so embarrassed about his son," Reid said in reference to George Romney's standard-setting decision to turn over 12 years of tax returns when he ran for president in the late 1960s.

Romney strongly denounced the accusation, saying last week it was false and that Reid needs to “put up or shut up” regarding his source of information.

“As far as Harry Reid is concerned, listen,” Priebus said on Sunday. ”I‘m not going to respond to a dirty liar who hasn’t filed a single page of tax returns himself, complains about people with money but lives in the Ritz Carlton here down the street.”

As NewsBusters previously reported, Beckel has a reputation for making controversial remarks that occasionally drift into vulgarity.

In June, Beckel told FBN's Don Imus: "If I was Juan [Williams], I'd wake up next to [Michelle Malkin] with a shotgun.”

In mid-June, Beckel clashed with Daily Caller Editor Tucker Carlson on “Hannity” over Neil Munro's interruption of President Obama. “The idea that they gave the Daily Caller a White House pass is the craziest idea I've ever heard.”

Beckel's curiosity was finally satisfied when Carlson said that Munro is an American citizen, and a proud one at that.

And in April, Beckel told a female member of the Tea Party that she doesn't “know what the f**k you're talking about” when Jennifer Stefano disagreed about the relative success of the Head Start program and learned that the program had come back from a commercial break and the microphone was live.

He finally apologized, saying: “I’m sorry about using that foul word, yes. But the intent about it is still there.”
