NEW NewsBusters Podcast: The Mangling of Melania, with Tim Graham and Curtis Houck

On the latest installment of the NewsBusters Podcast, executive editor Tim Graham discusses now the media have never been fair or balanced in their treatment of Melania Trump. They mocked her as merely a "former model" and routinely suggested she must be clawing her way out of her husband's clutches. Jimmy Kimmel lamely joked she traveled to Ghana and is "never Ghana come back." Yuk yuk yuk.

It's quite a contrast with the incoming adoration of "Doctor Jill" Biden. The red carpet is rolled out, and she is touted as a wonderful educator and woman of substance...because she's a Democrat and a feminist. 

Managing editor Curtis Houck joins Tim to discuss the complete change in tone that's going to happen in the White House briefing room. Out: Jim Acosta and the rest yelling at Trump and his press aides about how many people Trump has killed or how mentally ill he's becoming. In: Reporters like Jeff Zeleny asking what enchants Biden about being president, or blankly asking what he hopes to accomplish. Stenography is in. Curtis and Tim are hoping for more reporters to ask serious questions without barking out insults. Keep hope alive.
