Nets Skip Deadbeat Hunter Biden's Court Appearance Over Child Support

May 1st, 2023 9:13 PM

On Monday, President Biden’s delinquent, drug addict son Hunter Biden appeared in an Arkansas courtroom over his demand that he pay less in child support to a daughter he's never met. Yet this wasn’t just simply a dispute over child support payments. This court case was looking into Hunter Biden’s finances to determine his income streams, which could reveal potential criminal activities. Since this court case was about Hunter being a deadbeat dad, the big three evening news broadcasts ignored it because it made the Biden family look bad.

Instead, the three evening news broadcasts spent time on stories ranging from singer Ed Sheeran singing in court (ABC), Hollywood writers going on strike (CBS), and the French having yet more protests and riots (NBC).

Meanwhile, Fox News Channel correspondent David Spunt reported on Special Report that “Lunden Roberts, mother of a 4-year-old girl she shares with the President's son, was at the hearing” and that “Hunter Biden is not involved in the little girl's life, but he’s supporting her financially.”

Also according to Spunt, “Hunter's attorneys revealed publicly the President's son is paying Roberts $20,000 a month. A figure he wants to lower.”

The way the case could spiral out of control for the Biden family was that Roberts’ “attorneys also want more information about the value of Hunter's art, his salary, and employment from the past five years. Also, documents relating to his business with a Chinese firm.”

“To get a status update on that probe. Separately, congressional Republicans are looking to the Arkansas case for answers in their own investigation,” Spunt noted, alluding to the shaky ground Hunter was on.

“House Oversight Chairman Jim Comer from Kentucky also wants to see if Hunter Biden has any offshore accounts financially,” Spunt revealed.

This bias by omission was made possible by Nature’s Bounty on ABC, Ensure on CBS, and Prevagen on NBC. Their information is linked.

BRET BAIER: The President's son appeared in an Arkansas courtroom today. Hunter Biden was ordered to come by a judge handling a child support dispute but the implications of this case could go much further. Correspondent David Spunt is in Arkansas tonight.

DAVID SPUNT: Hunter Biden left a rural Arkansas courtroom late this morning, following a high-profile hearing on child support payments. Also at the hearing, Lunden Roberts, mother of a 4-year-old girl she shares with the President's son. Hunter Biden is not involved in the little girl's life, but he’s supporting her financially. While we didn't learn specifics about his entire financial portfolio, inside the courtroom Hunter's attorneys revealed publicly the President's son is paying Roberts $20,000 a month. A figure he wants to lower. Alluding to a drop in income. His finances also under federal investigation for five years by the Department of Justice.

CLINT LANCASTER (ROBERTS ATTORNEY): We're always going to comply with the federal authorities. So, as to what she’s done recently, I don't have the ability to comment on that.

SPUNT: But Fox News has learned Roberts testified before a Delaware grand jury last year part of the federal probe. Her attorneys also want more information about the value of Hunter's art, his salary, and employment from the past five years. Also, documents relating to his business with a Chinese firm. Hunter's attorneys were at the Justice Department headquarters last Wednesday in Washington, D.C. To get a status update on that probe. Separately congressional Republicans are looking to the Arkansas case for answers in their own investigation.

REP. JAMES COMER: This has the potential to be very helpful. There are two things, in particular, I'm interested in determining from this court case. First of all, what, in fact, is his income from his artwork?

SPUNT: House Oversight Chairman Jim Comer from Kentucky also wants to see if Hunter Biden has any offshore accounts financially. We know that the next hearing in this specific case relating to child support, Bret, that comes in just a few weeks on May 23rd. Back to you.
