Wednesday night on his eponymous Fox News Channel show, host Tucker Carlson brutally mocked CNN, and one of their prime-time hosts Don Lemon for what Carlson describes as "their total lack of self-awareness."
Carlson kicked off the entertaining segment by reporting on CNN's decision early this week to hire a team of reporters to cover alleged misinformation. Carlson was quick to point out the glaring hypocrisy exclaiming "consider the hilarious irony here, the Russia collusion network is now in search of misinformation!" The Fox star pointed out more evidence that CNN "is a television channel that has no sense of self-awareness whatsoever."
Exhibit A was an interview CNN had on Tuesday with Dr. Leana Wen, the former head of the heinous abortion mill Planned Parenthood who wailed about how "we have failed our children throughout this entire pandemic" by imposing lockdowns and closing schools.
After airing that dystopian clip, Carlson immediately called out Wen and CNN by pointing out that "this is the lady whose job it was to make sure kids weren't born, lecturing us about the children!"
Now for the moment we have all been waiting for, Carlson turned his attention to Don Lemon who Carlson comically pronounces as "Don Le-Mon":
This is a man who has spent more than 50 years living entirely for himself and that’s fine, we're not judging, but now he’s telling the rest of us that we should consider the common good.
He then plays a clip of Lemon going off on a deranged rant about how "we have to start doing things for the greater good of society, and not for idiots who think that they can do their own research or that they are above the law and they can break the rules."
Carlson then goes in for the kill shot by brutally mocking Lemon and sarcastically referring to him as "the face of altruism" and "the Dag Hammarskjöld of cable news."
This segment is the reason why Tucker Carlson is the undisputed king of cable news. Entertaining, informative, and a complete savage.

FNC’s Tucker Carlson Tonight
TUCKER CARLSON: We complain a lot about the cable news network CNN! We too rarely take time to be deeply amused by their total lack of self-awareness. They’re too dumb to be threatening. Don Lemon would like to remind you of that and to remind you, you need to act for the greater good. That is what Don Lemon says. We’ve got the tape, straight ahead.

CARLSON: CNN announced this week they're hiring a team of reporters to cover the misinformation beat. Now that sounds kind of ominous and before you get upset and just dismiss it as a new way to lie which is of course what it is, consider the hilarious irony here, the Russia collusion network is now in search of misinformation! And that points out really the deepest truth about CNN, is this is a television channel that has no sense of self-awareness whatsoever. And that makes it kind of hilarious. On Tuesday, for example, CNN interviewed the former head of Planned Parenthood who declared that we have failed the children.

DOCTOR LEANA WEN: We have failed our children throughout this entire pandemic, we have not prioritized our kids, and now we’re seeing the effect, we’re seeing the mental health impact, as you mentioned, but we're also seeing the impact on nutrition and physical activity. These studies are also showing that school lockdowns have an impact on increasing childhood obesity, which also has implications for diabetes and heart disease for these kids growing up later on in life, as well.

CARLSON: So this is the lady whose job it was to make sure kids weren't born, lecturing us about the children! We have failed the children! No, our children are fine.
CARLSON: People who took your advice are not doing well. And then there’s Don Lemon. And we don't mean to single out Mr. Lemon, we actually find Mr. Lemon hilarious, Mr. Lemon is invited to our show Christmas party this year. That’s a sincere invitation. We hope you’ll come, you'll love it. But let's be honest. This is a man who has spent more than 50 years living entirely for himself and that’s fine, we're not judging, but now he’s telling the rest of us that we should consider the common good.

DON LEMON: We have to start doing things for the greater good of society, and not for idiots who think that they can do their own research or that they are above the law and they can break the rules.

CARLSON: Mr. Don Lemon. The face of altruism.
CARLSON: The Dag Hammarskjöld of cable news. It’s too great.
