Liberal Activist: Democrats Can 'Decapitate' McConnell and Cause 'Chilling Effect' on GOP

Sane, normal people are sickened by the jihad and the increasingly frequent atrocities committed in its name. Then there are other people -- Progressive Change Campaign Committee co-founder Adam Green, for example -- who on some bizarre level seem to draw inspiration from it.

Appearing on Ed Schultz's radio show yesterday, one week after an off-duty British soldier was beheaded by two Muslim fanatics on a London street, Green used decidedly peculiar language to describe how he sees Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell vulnerable to a challenge. (Audio after the jump)

Here's what Green said in response to a question from Schultz (audio) --

SCHULTZ: A couple of races I want to look at, I mean, people want to take the gloves off, people want to get after it, they want activism, here's a chance. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is tied with Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan, I believe her name is, Grimes. What do you know about this race? What of the vulnerability of Mitch McConnell? Give us your take on it, Adam.

GREEN: Yeah, well this is something that many progressives might just look at and say, this is too good to be true, but it's true. Mitch McConnell is actually the most vulnerable Republican senator in the entire nation right now, up in 2014, which is a great opportunity for us to kind of decapitate one of the main obstructionists and really kind of have it, you know, force a chilling effect on a lot of this very bad Republican behavior that's blocking so much progressive change.

Looks like Green is inclined, in the absence of anything restraining him, to do more than "take the gloves off" when it comes to infidels, uh, Republicans. Allahu Akbar!

Certain words should not be bandied about blithely, "decapitate" among them. Unless one wants to be seen as an aspiring jihadist. But perhaps that's the whole idea.
