Hypocrite: Denouncing Trump’s ‘Animals’ Remark, Vicente Fox Calls Trump ‘Horse’

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox has been left with mud on his face on no less a network than Univision, after his latest denunciation of U.S. President Donald Trump for calling criminal MS-13 gang members “animals” backfired badly.

In a news brief on the former Mexican President’s condemnation of Trump, Univision anchor Enrique Acevedo did not hide from viewers Fox’s abject hypocrisy on the issue.

ENRIQUE ACEVEDO, ANCHOR, UNIVISION: Former Mexican President Vicente Fox described this as racism, but then he did the same saying that Trump was a wild horse that needed to be tamed.

Fox, known for his foul-mouthed anti-Trump tirades, was in Washington for a speech before the National Press Club, where he also called United States Attorney General Jeff Sessions “a little mouse.”

During an interview just prior to delivering his speech, Fox specifically called Trump a “wild horse.”  Both in the interview and during his speech, Fox directly meddled in internal U.S. politics by calling on the country’s voters to elect a Democrat majority to Congress in this November’s midterm elections.

Univision’s report was a welcome breath of fresh air on the nation's leading Spanish-language media outlet, which like much of the rest of the liberal media has routinely and inaccurately characterized President Trump’s use of the word “animals” in reference to MS-13 gang members as an insult to all immigrants.

Below is the complete transcript of the above-referenced report, as aired during the May 21, 2018 edition of Noticiero Univisión: Edición Nocturna:

ENRIQUE ACEVEDO, ANCHOR, UNIVISION: The Trump administration insists on calling members of gangs like MS-13 ‘animals.’ Even though many of the members of this youth gang have committed atrocious crimes, the administration insists on dehumanizing them. Today it included the word ‘animal’ five times in an official document. Former Mexican President Vicente Fox described this as racism, but then he did the same upon saying that Trump was a wild horse that needs to be tamed.
