Charles Barkley Trashes Trump, Calls His Supporters ‘Losers’

The most "terrible, hurrible" take in sports this week for once did not belong to Stephen A. Smith or Skip Bayless. Instead that “honor” belongs to Charles Barkley. In advance of the GOP Debate on Tuesday night, to air on his sister network CNN, Barkley was asked on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” for his thoughts on, and explanation for the rise Donald Trump.

Barkley, who confesses to be someone who has “always voted Democrat,” said he was “disgusted” by the “sad” rise in Trump’s popularity and, though he for some reason had been considering voting Republican in this cycle, (if your BS antenna wasn’t already raised, make it so) he now cannot vote GOP and has no idea who he is going to vote for.

I now present to you, the completely partisan and in no way objective Sir Charles Barkley:

So there you have it. We’ve lost Charles Barkley. Except we never had him anyway and never were going to have him. He’s a lifelong Democrat voter, yet was for some reason sought out for his “analysis” about the leading candidate for the party that he hates.

Except that’s the whole reason for why his opinion was sought. Because TNT/CNN knew he would attack Trump. They even got the fringe benefit of Barkley attacking Trump’s supporters and calling them “losers.”

The richest part of course is the accusation of a “divide & conquer” strategy on the part of Republicans, while the President he voted for uses mass shootings and terrorist attacks to pit America against Christians and gun owners as part of a gambit to do away with the 2nd Amendment.

Nothing divisive about calling people “losers” either, apparently.
