College Radicals Take Over CBS’ ‘Blue Bloods’

November 14th, 2015 3:23 PM

If you’ve had enough of spoiled, ungrateful, safe-spacing, student loan collecting college kids to last you a lifetime, you probably should have avoided Friday night’s edition of Blue Bloods. But, that’s okay! No worries. I watched it for you.

Commissioner Reagan (Tom Selleck) is planning to speak at his granddaughter Nicky’s (Sami Gayle) college, discussing that most favorite of all college activist topics, the NYPD. Except some of Nicky’s friends seem less than impressed by the pending visit by the Commish:

Nicky: What does that even mean?

Activist #1: We're gonna shut him down.

Nicky: Why?

Activist #2: Who are you to ask why?

Nicky: A student here, one who would like to know what he has to say.

Activist #1: I'll tell you what he has to say-- lies. He just vacations and rationales for a racist, fascist occupying force.

Nicky: So you're not gonna let him speak?

Activist #1: We're gonna speak for the voiceless. The victims of his martial law and his racial profiling.

Nicky: You speak for victims of racial profiling? Get profiled a lot, do you?

Activist #2: Hey, little sister, look around you. This city is ground zero for uncontrolled policing. Come on.

Activist #1: That's right. Lead, follow, or get out of the way.

Funny how the “voiceless” nowadays seem to have the loudest voices, isn’t it? Even better is the charge of fascism against the police. When in real life, it’s those voices for the voiceless who are trying to silence speech.

Like here, when Tom Selleck, the greatest actor in the entirety of human history (slight exaggeration, but just slight) attempts to address the great unwashed in their lair of academic and cultural rot:

Administrator: If everyone could settle down, please. It is my honor to introduce Commissioner Reagan to the podium. And I expect every courtesy to be extended to our speaker.

Student #1: Shut up and let him speak!

Student #2: Who are you?

Student #1: Are you kidding me?

Reagan: Stop that. Stop it right now. Thank you. Good afternoon. You know, policing, by its very nature, involves conflict...

Student: Frank Reagan, you can't hide! We charge you with homicide!

Regan: You know, I would be happy to listen to you, but it's hard when you're all screaming.

Never has a stronger case for ending the Student Loan program ever been made. And to think, there was a time when our universities were the very symbol of our pride in Western civilization. Unfortunately, instead of being the pride of civilization, these ingrates are playing the part of barbarians at the gates. Except, these barbarians are already inside the gate.
