“People got Hitler wrong,” Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) warned Monday, addressing Americans who don’t believe Iran was on the verge of having nuclear weapons it wanted to use against the U.S. before it was hit with Operation Epic Fury.
“They did not want peaceful nuclear power – they want a bomb to purify Islam, to destroy the state of Israel and to come after us,” Sen. Graham said in an interview on Hannity, stressing that the U.S. had no choice but to launch the Epic Fury strike against Iran.
Sen. Graham explained that Iran had already announced that it had enough enriched uranium to quickly build 11 nuclear bombs – which it would have used if the U.S. hadn’t acted:
“We literally dodged a nuclear bullet. If President Trump had not done this, they could have had a nuclear capability within weeks, not months – and if they had a weapon, they would use it.”
“So, all of those who don’t believe that, you’re stupid. You’re a fool,” Graham warned. “And, I hate to be so harsh – people got Hitler wrong.”
“To the American people: we live in a world of great danger. You ignore this danger at your own peril,” Sen. Graham said.
“To President Trump: You saved the world from a religious Nazi regime having nuclear weapons. God bless you,” Graham said, adding:
“God bless the men and women of Epic Fury. God bless the seven who fell. Let’s finish the job.”
