Sec. Hegseth: ‘No More Identity Months, DEI Offices, Dudes in Dresses,’ ‘Climate Worship’

“Because this job is life and death, standards must be met,” Secretary of War Pete Hegseth told military leaders Tuesday, declaring an end to the radical liberal ideologies that have weakened and infected the nation’s armed services.

“No more identity months, DEI offices, dudes in dresses. No more climate change worship, no more division, distraction, or gender delusions,” Hegseth said. “As I have said before and will say again: we are done with that s**t.”

Physical standards will be gender neutral and designed to ensure personnel can perform the vital requirements of the job at hand, Sec. Hegseth said:

“When it comes to any job that requires physical power to perform in combat, those physical standards must be high and gender neutral. If women can make it, excellent.

“If not, it is what it is.”

Attire must also gender-neutral attire and leadership must be apolitical, Hegseth said.

The goal should be to exceed the standards, not to ensure everyone passes by lowering them to dangerous levels, Sec. Hegseth said:

“Because this job is life and death, standards must be met.

“And not just be met: at every level we should seek to exceed the standard, to push the envelope, to compete – it’s common sense.”

And, if any military leader objects to his orders, he’s free to retire, Hegseth added.
