Is there anything MSNBC hosts won't compare conservatives to?

Consider Chris Matthews who began Friday's Hardball likening conservatives such as Glenn Beck, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Mark Levin, and Rand Paul - who have the nerve to oppose the budget compromise just passed in the House - to North Korean despot Kim Jong Un killing his uncle (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Jay Leno took some more shots at the current White House resident Friday.

During his opening monologue, the NBC Tonight Show host likened Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III to President Obama saying, “He had a great first year in Washington, he showed incredible promise, then the whole thing fell apart” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

You can tell things are really going poorly for President Obama: some of his biggest fans in the media members are going nuts.

Take Andrew Sullivan who on Friday actually called Fox News "one of the most powerful forces against Christianity in our culture."

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel began his program Thursday evening bashing the Fox News Network.

After mocking Megyn Kelly and contributor Monica Crowley for claiming that the historical figures Santa Claus and Jesus Christ were white, he presented a trailer for a Fox News version of “It’s a Wonderful Life” wherein Henry Potter is the hero trying to preserve Bedford Falls as an example of free market capitalism against the wishes of the evil, draft-dodging, communist George Bailey (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

The folks at CBS’s Late Show decided to give viewers a Christmas treat Thursday by playing a clip of the new film “August: Osage County” starring Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts.

In the 54-second clip, Roberts dropped six F-bombs while also saying four S-words (video follows with commentary):

Conservatives across the fruited plain are likely going to be shocked by this - and liberals extremely angered! - but the fact-checking website PolitiFact on Thursday named President Obama's "If you like your health care plan, you can keep it" promise the Lie of the Year.

Such was announced on CNN's The Lead (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

ABC’s Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos together made a rather bizarre statement at the end of a brief Good Morning America segment Thursday about the newly-released 911 call from the friend of the woman who’s accused Heisman Trophy favorite Jameis Winston of raping her.

“They just want this one to go away,” said Stephanopoulos. “Yeah, I think all sides do,” replied Roberts (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Boy, that didn't take long, did it?

The Washington Post announced Wednesday that MSNBC's Rachel Maddow would be writing a column for the paper once a month, and on Thursday, there was her first piece.

Any guesses on the topic?

Bashing George. W. Bush, of course. What would you expect from this unapologetic liberal shill?

As NewsBusters reported Tuesday, Bill O’Reilly once again exposed MSNBC’s Al Sharpton for deceptively editing a video to blatantly misrepresent what the Fox News host said.

On the O’Reilly Factor Wednesday, media analyst and political commentator Bernie Goldberg claimed MSNBC is afraid to fire Sharpton; Fox News media analyst Howard Kurtz said he’d start by canning the producer (video follows with transcript and commentary):

"The journalistic bond between The Post and MSNBC just grew a bit stronger, as the paper’s opinion section announced that MSNBC host Rachel Maddow will be writing a monthly column."

So began Washington Post media critic Erik Wemple's announcement Wednesday concerning the addition of the perilously liberal Maddow to the Post opinion page.

Remember all those promises that racism would end if Barack Obama became president?

Perfectly demonstrating the absurdity was Slate culture blogger Aisha Harris Tuesday actually making the case that it's racist for Santa Claus to be an old white man, and that he should be replaced by a penguin:

Jay Leno took another shot at the President Tuesday night.

Early in his opening monologue, the NBC Tonight Show host commented about Kanye West wanting to be the Obama of clothing saying, “To achieve his goal, he's designing fashion nobody wants and offering it on a website that doesn't work” (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):

For years, climate alarmists have dishonestly accused global warming skeptics of taking money from Big Oil to do their bidding.

On CNN’s 11th Hour Tuesday, when Sierra Club executive director Michael Brune made such a claim, Climate Depot’s Marc Morano marvelously fired back, “The Sierra Club took 26 million from natural gas and Michael has the audacity to try to imply that skeptics are fossil fuel funded” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly on Tuesday again exposed MSNBC’s Al Sharpton for deceptively editing a video, this time to make it appear the Factor host was disparaging Nelson Mandela within hours of his death.

“Sharpton uses the occasion of Nelson Mandela's death to dishonestly attack people he doesn't like,” said O’Reilly. “They don't come lower” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

As NewsBusters has been reporting, NBC Tonight Show host Jay Leno has been very critical of the current White House resident in recent months.

Possibly his harshest joke yet came Monday when he said, "I tell you, this winter storm has left thousands without electricity. It's as if President Obama had taken over the power companies" (video follows with commentary):

Former CBS Evening News Anchor Dan Rather, despite being fired as a result of the bogus story, continues to maintain that he got it right in September 2004 when he aired forged documents concerning George W. Bush’s record with the Air National Guard.

On CNN’s Piers Morgan Live Monday, Rather said, “No question the story was true” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

With all the coverage of Nelson Mandela's death along with the harsh winter weather hitting many parts of the country, last Friday was a big news day.

Not for CNN's Anderson Cooper who had his worst ratings of the year bringing in only 255,000 total viewers.

If you were bestowed the honor to perform at a presidential inauguration, wouldn't you want your parents in attendance regardless of their political beliefs?

Pop diva Katy Perry doesn't think so, for she told Marie Claire in an interview published Monday that because her parents are Republicans that didn't vote for Barack Obama, they couldn't watch her perform at his inauguration in January:

The folks at MSNBC are so comfortable at this point repeating White House talking points they don’t even try to hide it.

On MSNBC Live Monday, substitute host Brian Shactman, after reading administration propaganda about ObamaCare, asked a Democratic Congresswoman – who is also a member of the White House strike team pushing said propaganda – “What are we doing to get that message out there a little more?” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Just how much do many Hollywood liberals hate conservatives?

In an interview with Playboy, Ben Affleck said, "When I watch a guy [on film] I know is a big Republican, part of me thinks, I probably wouldn’t like this person if I met him":
