Something absolutely marvelous happened on MSNBC Thursday that could have only been a better Christmas gift to those fighting liberal media bias if the host at the time had been a more prominent person on that so-called “news network.”

When MSNBC Live substitute host Kristen Welker scolded the Guardian’s Glenn Greenwald for appearing to always be defending NSA leaker Edward Snowden, Greenwald marvelously shot back, “I do defend him just like people on MSNBC defend President Obama and his officials and Democratic Party leaders 24 hours a day” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Barack Obama reportedly told People magazine last week that he would like to hang out with the family on A&E's Duck Dynasty.

Eli Lake, the senior national security correspondent for the Daily Beast, disagrees, and thinks the President would be better off sitting down with - wait for it! - rapper Kanye West.

Most Americans view Christmas as a time to consider such lofty things as peace on earth and good will toward men.

Not MSNBC’s Chris Matthews who actually devoted his entire Christmas Eve Hardball show to mercilessly attacking eleven conservatives with assistance from a panel of some of the most conservative-hating liberals in the nation (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Have you ever wondered what MSNBC president Phil Griffin uses as qualifications to hire on-air personalities for his so-called "news network?"

Consider the case of perpetually race-baiting contributor Georgetown professor Michael Eric Dyson who on Monday’s Ed Show actually said that Christian men claiming to love Jesus more than they love women “sounds interestingly homoerotic” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

It really is wonderful having George Will on Fox News where we can see him more regularly than for a few minutes once a week.

On Monday’s Special Report, Will said of the revelation earlier in the day that people now had until Tuesday to sign up at Healthcare.gov, “ObamaCare now is a tapestry of coercions mitigated by random acts of presidential mercy announced in the most bizarre ways” (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for commentary):

NewsBusters had the great fortune to chat with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin last week.

The topics for discussion were her new book "Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas,” Martin Bashir, Santa Claus, and Charlie Brown.

As NewsBusters reported in November, rapper Kanye West during a radio interview made an anti-Semitic remark blaming Barack Obama’s inability to advance his agenda on black people not having the connections that Jews have.

During another radio interview Wednesday, West actually said he thought he was complimenting Jews when he made those remarks (video follows with transcript and commentary):

My nomination for the best comment of the week regarding the controversy surrounding Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson goes to syndicated columnist George Will.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Will marvelously said, "[T]he new biggest American entitlement is the entitlement to go through life without being offended" (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):

Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer made a dire prediction Sunday.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Krauthammer said that all the exemptions the President has given to ObamaCare will ruin insurance companies thereby necessitating the White House to ask for a huge government bailout of these companies next year that Republicans in Congress should prevent (video follows with transcript and commentary):

It is quite possible that no American company has received more criticism from MSNBC's Rachel Maddow than Exxon Mobil.

Despite this, at the beginning of a commercial break of her program Wednesday, an unidentified announcer said, "The Rachel Maddow Show is brought to you by Exxon Mobil" (video follows with commentary):

UPDATE AT END OF POST: COULTER RESPONDS!

Ann Coulter is a syndicated columnist and a New York Times Best Selling author.

Despite this, on Friday's Hardball, MSNBC's Chris Matthews said, "[S]he doesn't have a job" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

On the final installment of PBS’s Inside Washington Friday, host Gordon Peterson asked his panelists who they thought would be elected president in 2016.

Rather surprisingly, the Washington Post’s Colby King said, “Paul Ryan because the Democratic nominee will never be able to replicate what Barack Obama has done, never bring out that base” (video follows with commentary):

Sadly, an era came to an end Friday when after 25 years on the air, PBS broadcast the final installment of the marvelous Inside Washington.

To honor the event, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer deliciously told host Gordon Peterson, “[A]ll those times that I savagely attacked you for bias and twisting the news, I stand by every single one of them” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

NewsBusters guest contributor Charlie Daniels has had enough of CNN's Piers Morgan attacking Americans he doesn't agree with.

After Morgan said about Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson via Twitter Thursday, "[T]he 1st Amendment shouldn't protect vile bigots," Daniels scolded the arrogant Brit Friday with a series of tweets that began, "Piers Morgan why don't you go back to England and straighten it out before you try to change the United States of America":

If you thought the issue of Santa's skin color was going to die, you don't understand how the media works.

Consider the leftists at the Huffington Post who actually published a piece Friday with the misleading and inflammatory front page headline "Americans Don't Care What Race Santa Is - Except For Republicans."

Here’s something I bet you never imagined would happen.

Chris Matthews on Friday, appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, declared Barack Obama the political loser of the year (video follows with transcript and commentary):

In the wake of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson’s anti-gay remarks published in GQ magazine, the liberal media are predictably hunting for his hide.

What most people don’t know is that Robertson was a football star in college so talented that back in October, NFL Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw told NBC Tonight Show host Jay Leno, “That guy with that beard kept me on the bench for two years” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Liberals have been predictably up in arms over anti-gay comments by Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson and thrilled about his termination.

Rather shockingly you can't count Andrew Sullivan amongst them, for he took to his Daily Dish blog Thursday to proclaim, "I’m befuddled":

Is there an anatomical limit to how many times someone can put their foot in their mouth?

Consider the case of CNN's Piers Morgan who on Twitter moments ago actually accused former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin of getting Martin Bashir fired by MSNBC:

Can you imagine a priest taking a group of altar boys to see the movie “Deliverance?”

According to Tim Robbins, when he was an altar boy in New York City, at the age of ten or eleven, a priest at his church took him and some other altar boys into Times Square to see the R-rated film which contained a brutal homosexual rape scene.
