My nomination for the best one-liner of the week by someone not specifically employed as a comic goes to TheBlaze TV’s Amy Holmes.

In a Fox News MediaBuzz discussion Sunday about how much of the media have turned on the President as a result of the disastrous rollout of ObamaCare, she said, “I think it's fair to say he's getting a colonoscopy from the press” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

As media predictably gush and fawn over John F. Kennedy on the 50th anniversary of his assassination, it seems a metaphysical certitude precious few will take an honest look at his actual accomplishments as president.

Fox News Sunday did exactly that this week with Brit Hume saying, "[H]e has been the subject of the most successful public relations campaign in political history" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

"I think there is no way he could not have known the truth. There was very clearly a situation in which they were thinking, you know what? The media never holds us accountable. They're not going to hold us accountable here."

So said Wyoming Republican senatorial candidate Liz Cheney on Fox News Sunday about the President's "You Can Keep It" pledge (video follows with transcript and commentary):

The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward said on Fox News Sunday that ObamaCare isn’t a scandal such as Watergate or Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.

However, he thinks the problems associated with the so-called “Affordable Care Act” are going to get worse because "It’s going to blow a hole in the budget” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

On PBS’s Inside Washington Friday, the perilously liberal Mark Shields said of ObamaCare, “You can forget 2016 if this thing craters and crashes, the Republicans could run a laundry ticket in 2016 and win.”

Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer marvelously responded, “I’m going to recommend to my colleagues on the right that we do exactly that. 2016 we’re going to run a laundry ticket and we’re going to win” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

As NewsBusters reported, former Florida governor Jeb Bush pounded public school activist Matt Damon in August for putting his kids in private school.

Damon gave CNN's Jake Tapper a rather lame excuse for this in an online segment of their interview Friday while claiming, "I'd eat my shoe if he could name a Bush that ever even walked into a public school" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Alec Baldwin picked the wrong reporter to mess with.

After an altercation with the actor Friday, the New York Post's Kevin Fasick - a former professional boxer - officially challenged Baldwin to a boxing match with proceeds going to the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation:

Has Barack Obama lost Bill Maher?

On HBO’s Real Time Friday, the Obama campaign donor’s opening monologue skewered the disastrous rollout of the President’s signature legislative accomplishment including a joke about Wilt Chamberlain having had sex with more people than enrolled at (video follows with transcript and commentary):

MSNBC’s Martin Bashir on Friday closed his show with likely the most disgraceful rant against former Alaska governor Sarah Palin you’ve ever heard.

Besides calling her “America’s resident dunce” and claiming she has a “deceased mind,” Bashir suggested that someone should defecate in her mouth and urinate in her eyes (video follows with transcript and commentary, vulgarity warning):

As NewsBusters previously reported, MSNBC's Alec Baldwin went on another homophobic rant Thursday.

This led Andrew Sullivan to take on the hypocrisy of the liberal media which will likely once again ignore Baldwin's behavior:

Oprah Winfrey, one of the wealthiest people in the world, is throwing the race card again.

During an interview with the BBC Friday, she not only said that President Obama is treated with disrespect because he’s black, but also that entire generations of racists are going to have to die for racism to end (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Fox News’s Chris Wallace announced on Thursday’s Special Report that syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer’s book “Things That Matter” is now at the top of the New York Times Best Seller List just above Bill O’Reilly’s “Killing Jesus.”

This led Wallace to deliciously quip, “The Times must be breaking out in hives having the two of you at the top of their chart” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Do prospective MSNBC hosts have to fail a civics test in order to be hired?

Consider The Cycle’s Toure Neblett who on Thursday made the case that gerrymandering impacts Senate races (video follows with transcript and commentary):

The last time Alec Baldwin went on a homophobic rant, he was rewarded with his own television show on MSNBC.

What will be his reward after this most recent one reported by TMZ Thursday (video follows with commentary, extreme vulgarity warning):

Has Barack Obama lost Piers Morgan?

Consider this truly delicious tweet the CNN host sent out Wednesday evening saying, "Considerably more Americans signed a petition to have me deported, than enrolled for Obamacare. I'd start panicking, Mr President":

If Barack Obama starts losing people at MSNBC, his presidency is doomed.

On Now with Alex Wagner Thursday, shortly after the President spoke to the nation about his “solution” for ObamaCare causing people to lose their health insurance even though he promised they wouldn’t, the host said, “He seems a wounded man today” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Filmmaker Oliver Stone made some truly offensive comments on PBS’s Tavis Smiley show Wednesday.

“I don't know why these Republican white people...They're strange to me," he said. "It’s almost as if we’re an apartheid state and they’re still fighting for the rights of whites in South Africa” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

As NewsBusters reported Wednesday, MSNBC is one of the least-trusted news organizations in America concerning information regarding ObamaCare.

Martin Bashir perfectly demonstrated why this is Wednesday when moments after the disastrous October enrollment numbers were revealed by the White House, he actually spun them positively saying, "[T]he Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is, in fact, alive and kicking" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Fox News's left of center contributor Kirsten Powers went on a bit of a mini-rant about ObamaCare on Tuesday's Special Report that media members across the fruited plain she sit up and take notice.

"I have talked about how I am losing my health insurance," she said. "If I want to keep the same health insurance, it's going to cost twice as much. There's nothing substandard about my plan... All of the things they say that are not in my plan are in my plan, all of the things they have listed. There's no explanation for the doubling of my premiums other than the fact that it's subsidizing other people" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

The news about the President's signature legislative accomplishment continues to get worse.

A new poll by YouGov finds that more people trust Fox News for information about the so-called "Affordable Care Act" than trust President Obama:
