The opening of the brutalist Barack Obama Presidential Center in Chicago was cause for reflecting on his supposed golden two terms of tolerance and “reaching across the aisle” on Friday’s PBS News Hour. Rogin teed up her guest, Yale historian Beverly Gage, to praise Obama’s dignified bipartisanship, facts notwithstanding.
