The just-released quotes from Tom Cruise regarding his domestic life could be far more damaging to his A-list status than that couch-jumping stunt.

The actor is suing a magazine for $50 million regarding alleged misinformation regarding his relationship with his 7-year-old daughter, Suri. Information from his deposition in the case won't go over well with potential movie goers.

Turns out Cruise once spent more than a 100 days without seeing his daughter, but he says his arduous film schedule and training regimen are to blame.

Tom says his location shoots are just like serving a tour in Afghanistan, "That's what it feels like. And certainly on this last movie, it was brutal. It was brutal.

He also defended not visiting his daughter for an extended period of time because he calls her often and typically spins stories for her over the phone.

I've gotten very good at [talking on the phone]. I've gotten very good at it. I tell wonderful stories and they like hearing it.
