Scott Jennings, Breitbart’s Alex Marlow Moving to Charlie Kirk’s Radio Slot in 2026

Axios’s Tal Axelrod delivered a welcome scoop Wednesday that, starting in 2026, Breitbart editor-in-chief Alex Marlow and CNN senior political commentator (and 2025 MRC Bulldog Award winner) Scott Jennings would occupy the three hours of radio previously filled by the late Charlie Kirk on the Salem Radio Network, marking a step up for the pair from their previous roles inside Salem.

Launching January 5, Axelrod explained Marlow and Jennings would split the noon to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Kirk held until his September 10 murder with Marlow hosting from noon to 1:00 p.m. Eastern and Jennings taking the remaining two hours.

In Jennings’s case, this marked an expansion of The Scott Jennings Radio Show that began on July 14 as a one-hour program at 2:00 p.m. Eastern that both this writer and Media Research Center President David Bozell have made guest appearances.

Axelrod stated for the good of the order the slot was “once commanded by Rush Limbaugh” and thus “a staple of conservative talk radio.” In Salem’s case, they will be heard on “over 300 radio stations...serving over 1.2 million listeners a week” with “more than a million” listening on-demand.

As for the future of The Charlie Kirk Show, Turning Point USA senior leaders, show producers, and longtime Kirk aides Andrew Klovet and Blake Neff will keep the show alive “as a podcast on the Salem Podcast Network.”

To be clear as well, Klovet emphasized TPUSA’s “friendship and trust in Salem [will] not” change even though “how we want to distribute the show will change” and wholeheartedly endorses Jennings and Marlow as “the perfect hosts to take over on the radio portion.”

Reacting to the announcement, Jennings told Axelrod that thanks were in order for “Kolvet and the Turning Point USA team” for having shown such careful “stewardship of Charlie's radio legacy.”

On X, Marlow tweeted in part: “The word “honor” is thrown around a lot, but it truly is an honor to get to broadcast in a time slot once held by my hero Dennis Prager and my friend Charlie Kirk, an American icon. I'm also grateful to have the blessing of [Andrew Kolvet] of Turning Point. The Charlie Kirk Show -- a vitally important podcast -- lives on thanks to him.”
