Newsweek Writer Who Compared Ann Romney to Hitler and Stalin Refuses t

NewsBusters reported Sunday that Michelle Goldberg, a senior writer for Newsweek/Daily Beast, compared Ann Romney to Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin during an appearance on MSNBC earlier that day. Moments ago, Goldberg posted a response to all the criticism she's received as a result of her comments, and rather than apologize to Mrs. Romney continued her attack (emphasis added):

CNN: "If Clinton Was 'Black,' Is Obama 'Gay

As I noted Sunday, the media's victory lap for Barack Obama's flipflop on same-sex marriage is really becoming disgraceful. CNN jumped into the sycophantic cesspool Monday with a headline at its website reading, "If Clinton Was 'Black,' Is Obama 'Gay'?"

MSNBC's Chris Matthews to Black Pastor: 'I Hope You Evolve

Hardball anchor Chris Matthews, who routinely smears his political opponents as racist, on Monday lectured an African American minister who opposes gay marriage, "I hope you evolve." The host patronizingly added, "I'm just teasing." [See video below. MP3 audio here.] How would he (or MSNBC for that matter) react if a conservative said such a thing to a black leader? Matthews interviewed…

Eerie Similarity? New Obama Attack Ad Mirrors CNN Story on Romney and

A new Obama campaign ad – which CNN showed a clip from on Monday – features former steelworkers attacking Mitt Romney and his leadership of Bain Capital. Yet this January CNN piece on Bain Capital's ventures in South Carolina provided the same critical aura of "bad memories" and "bitterness" toward the company from South Carolina steelworkers. United Steelworkers is one of the heavy hitters…

NBC: Romney Entered 'Lion's Den' of Liberty University That Has 'Big P

Early on Sunday's NBC Today, co-host Jenna Wolfe stirred division between Mitt Romney and  conservatives as she proclaimed: "[He] spoke at Liberty University, an evangelical school that's called his Mormon faith a cult. Can he get religious conservatives excited about his presidential campaign?" Introducing the later report on the speech, fellow co-host Lester Holt ominously declared: "Mitt…

Don't Know Much About History: MSNBC's Matthews Uses Phony Winston Chu

MSNBC's Chris Matthews is featured in a new "Lean Forward" promo spot [embedded below page break; MP3 audio here] quoting his "hero" Winston Churchill as having asked "Then what are we fighting for?" when his finance minister suggested that the government's budget for the arts would have to cut to aid Britain's war effort.  Matthews used that story as a warning to conservatives that the nation'…

NPR's Sunday Praise and Worship: Comparing Obama on Gays to Other Pres

On Sunday night’s All Things Considered, NPR weekend anchor Guy Raz brought on regular guest James Fallows (the former Jimmy Carter speechwriter and editor of U.S. News & World Report) for “a look behind the headlines” to put Obama’s gay-marriage proclamation in “context.” “I know you've been thinking a lot about this in a historical context. So take us back to some comparable moments,”…

CNN's Lemon Bemoans People 'Injecting' Religion Into Marriage Debate

CNN's Don Lemon said last year that he hoped to "change minds" when he declared that he was gay. And on Sunday evening he showed exactly where he lies on same-sex marriage and in no small words challenged the fundamental beliefs of its opponents, comparing them to those who opposed interracial marriage and integration. He later compared Mitt Romney to segregationist Governor George Wallace,…

On Monday's CBS This Morning, Charlie Rose and Erica Hill touted Massachusetts Democrat Elizabeth Warren's past time as "the government's chief watchdog during the 2008 bank bailout" as she was brought on to discuss JP Morgan Chase's $2 billion loss. Rose and Hill asked all of their questions from the left, and completely ommited any mention of the recent controversy over Warren's claim of…

NPR Caller: Gays Are a 'Race

The liberal callers lined up to applaud President Obama's gay-marriage proclamation on Thursday's Talk of The Nation show, but one of them really stood out. A gay man from San Francisco claimed "we are a race of people, not a type of person," and that is all Obama has to say to shut down any objections or debate: "this whole conversation ends."

Rasmussen Column: Lugar Loss Highlights Fact Voters Are Souring on Car

When relationships go bad, an early warning sign is that one side doesn't really hear what the other is saying. That's certainly the case today in the relationship between voters and America's political class. Many in Washington, D.C., took comfort over the past year in polling data showing that fewer voters consider themselves part of the tea party movement. Only 13 percent claim such a tie…

ABC Cancels Christian-Bashing Show ‘GCB

Despite ABC’s best efforts to degrade Christianity and Texans, the anti-Christian hate-mongering series “GCB” (short for “Good Christian Bitches”) has been canceled because of poor performance in the ratings. “GCB” earned significant backlash from both Christians and Texans, and had a dynamic history of mocking Christianity and the south. The worst of its agenda included advocating for porn …

Open Thread: The Political Consequences of Obama's Gay Marriage Announ

Today's starter topic: What are the political implications of President Obama revealing his support for gay marriage? In terms of fund-raising, it appears that it will be helpful to him. Former Obama chief of staff Rahm Emmanuel declared that "gays are the next Jews of fundraising" and it's well-known by now how many rich gay Democrats have witheld financial support from Obama in protest of…
