NY Times Devotes Story to Texas Candidate Embracing Ted Nugent, Barely
When you work at that “Valhalla” of liberal journalism called The New York Times, you can’t believe it when Republicans associate themselves with trash-talking celebrities who make wild charges about President Obama.
But when President Obama associates himself with trash-talking celebrities who made wild charges about President Bush, that’s not newsworthy at all. See these lead paragraphs of…

Irony in Yesterday's AP Headlines, Later Altered, on Obama's Unilatera
The Associated Press, aka the Administration's Press, had an interesting pair of headlines near the top of its raw feed yesterday.
The first headline used the typical "Republicans attack" approach any time President Obama does something objectionable, which has been quite often. The headline was "Issa Rails Against Obama's 'Imperial Presidency.'" Of course, reporter Steve Peoples didn't let…

NBC: 23-Year-Old Olympic Freestyle Skier With Wife, Kid Living 'Altern
NBC can't seem to keep its left-leaning slant out of its coverage of the Winter Olympics. One day after playing up Stalin's "palace for the people" in Moscow's metro system, the Big Three network's spotlighted how an American freestyle skier is living an "alternative lifestyle" – for being married at 23 and having a young daughter.
Correspondent Skyler Wilder underlined how David Wise, who…

O'Keefe Catches Battleground Texas Illegally Using Info of Newly Regis
The left constantly rants about alleged illegal coordination between conservative and Republican candidates and groups with little to no proof. At least once, when it had no evidence, it went to court to try to get a judge to allow them to engage in a wide-ranging fishing expedition to find something, anything, which might "prove" it. Fortunately, a Wisconsin judge in mid-January turned back…

‘Irritated’ Former Shell CEO Slams Obama on Keystone
Tired of the president dragging his feet, John Hofmeister, former CEO of Shell, bluntly shared his thoughts about the Keystone XL pipeline on Feb. 18.
Hofmeister passionately argued for approval of the Keystone XL pipeline on “Squawk on the Street,” calling it a “no brainer decision” to boost the economy. Hofmeister criticized President Barack Obama’s refusal to approve the pipeline, citing…

Daily Beast Writer Prophesies 'Conservative Crusade For Christian Shar
The Daily Beast’s Dean Obeidallah really wants his readers to believe that Taliban-style Sharia Law is threatening America, only, of course, it's coming from evangelical Christians. In a February 18th piece, Obeidallah hyperventilates how “Mainstream conservatives are trying to bring America’s laws into agreement with ‘God’s law’.”
The piece began with Obeidallah whining that
The…

Things That Make You Go Hmm: Arsenio Calls Out Brian Williams for Igno
Liberal reporters, particularly those at MSNBC, are quick to accuse conservatives of racism when it doesn’t exist. So it’s particularly amusing when they’re accused of it themselves. Arsenio Hall, on his Tuesday night show, did just that when he noticed NBC’s Brian Williams and the New York Times left him out when they reviewed the new late night talk show scene.
After putting up a still…

Fox Business Network's Stuart Varney asked guest Brent Bozell, president of the Media Research Center (MRC), on his February 18 program.
"Absolutely. A letter was sent to the heads of all the networks to say that they weren't…

After Hyping Colorado's 'Marijuana Munchies,' CBS Belatedly Discovers
Weeks after the journalists at CBS This Morning hyped the "cannabis capitalism" taking hold in Colorado, the network has come to the belated realization that pot can be "contaminated." The state became the first in the nation to legalize marijuana, but as co-host Norah O'Donnell noted, "the supply can come with its own surprises." [See video below. MP3 audio here.]

After Pushing Minimum Wage Hike, NBC and ABC Give 42 Seconds to Report
While all three broadcast networks happily promoted President Obama's crusade to hike the minimum wage following his State of the Union address, NBC's Today and ABC's Good Morning America only managed to provide a scant 42 seconds of coverage on Wednesday to a new Congressional Budget Office study showing such a move would cause 500,000 people to lose their jobs.
Wednesday's CBS This Morning…

Santelli Recalls February 2009: Bailout ‘Dissension was Born
CNBC’s Rick Santelli recalled the five-year anniversary of the stimulus, housing bailout and blowing “a gasket” during “Squawk on the Street” today.
“On Feb. 19 I blew a gasket. But basically, what was born at that point was the voice of dissension. How do we know that? Many of course still remember the IRS issues. President said maybe there wasn’t a smidgen of, of, of negativity there or…

Daily Beast: Wendy Davis Is ‘America’s Conscience on Abortion
Pity The Daily Beast’s Keli Goff. Anyone who would try to explain “How Wendy Davis Became America’s Conscience on Abortion” must have a tragically ill-formed concept of conscience. Or maybe Goff just lost a bet.
But “The Texas gubernatorial candidate didn’t flip-flop,” Goff assured readers on Feb. 18, “she just voiced what a large percentage of Americans already think of this hot button issue…

Rant That Launched Tea Party – and 4 More Amazing Ones from World
CNBC’s Rick Santelli is a man who isn’t afraid to speak his mind. His Feb. 19, 2009, rant was credited with inspiring the start of the Tea Party. It’s not alone. Santelli raises his voice on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade whenever he feels that an important point of information isn’t getting enough attention.
Complete with arm waving, props and a lot more facts than liberals are…
