Over at CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip, AKA “The Thunderdome”, Scott Jennings delivered a dose of brutal truth to the panel discussing coverage of all manner of things related to the alleged shooter of the CEO of UnitedHealthCare. Some shooters are covered differently than others, and reasonable people may wonder whether there is a (D)ifference in how they are covered.

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel reported on his Tuesday show that several members of his staff have become infatuated with UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s alleged murderer. During his monologue, Kimmel read several text exchanges between the staff and their friends and family, including ones who promised to bake him cookies and those who desperately wanted to get on the jury.

The Trump-loathing media hates the notion of mass deportations. They are upset that voters support it. After the election, a CBS News poll found 57 percent of Americans are ready to put the brakes on illegal immigration. So they pepper Republicans with questions about how much it will cost. They never asked Team Biden about the costs of mass importation.

With the notable exceptions of the shooting of the CEO of UnitedHealthcare and the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, the news cycle appears to be winding down for the holidays. This might explain why CBS is re-running tired narratives on the CBS Evening News.
