CNN President Mocks Fox For 'Copying' Drift From 'Traditional News'
CNN president Jeff Zucker targeted his network's competitors, MSNBC and Fox News, during a Wednesday interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Zucker returned fire in response to a 2014 claim by Fox News Channel CEO Roger Ailes that CNN is "out of the news business." The network executive retorted, "It's absurd on its face. The fact is, we're doing more news than we've ever done. We're doing more…

Feminist Media Champion New Cause: ‘Orgasm Equality’!
According the feminist media, the road to women’s equality is paved with… orgasms.
Cosmo’s July issue boasted singer Nicki Minaj on its cover. Inside, the star talked sex, including her “demand that I climax.” Following her cue, the feminist media began chanting “orgasm equality.” The Guardian’s Jessica Valenti pushed, “Why should we demand equal orgasms for all?” while Bustle’s Kristen Sollee…

Networks Treat 'Ice Age' and Cooling As Punchlines, Not Possibilities
Although it is nearly summer and people are taking trips to the beach, the brutal winter is not quite forgotten. In Boston, the dingy remains of former 75-foot snow piles could still be found after Memorial Day, according to The Washington Post.
Much of the country suffered from severe cold and snow during a winter that also spawned significant ice cover of the Great Lakes: 85 percent as of Feb…

'News' Room, Lobbyists Demand Columnist Firing for Anti-Jenner Piece
Stating an anti-transgender opinion is close to forbidden in today’s “news” pages and “news” rooms, especially after the Bruce Jenner fawning frenzy. Exhibit A? Pittsburgh Post-Gazette columnist Jennifer Graham (no relation to me) wrote a column truthfully titled “Caitlyn Jenner is still a mister.”
JimRomenesko.com notes Jay Brown of the so-called Human Rights Campaign demanded she be fired for…

Jerry Seinfeld Slams 'Creepy PC Thing' 'Moving the Lines In' on Comedy
Jerry Seinfeld blasted political correctness on the early Wednesday edition of NBC's Late Night With Seth Meyers. Seinfeld cited how he recently got a negative reaction to a "gay French king" joke: "I can imagine a time when people say, 'Well, that's offensive to suggest that a gay person moves their hands in a flourishing motion, and you now need to apologize.' I mean, there's a creepy PC thing…

AP Keeps Mosby's Name Out of Headline in Story Entirely About Her
Readers can be excused if they believe that the Associated Press might be more interested in protecting what little is left of Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn Mosby's credibility and reputation than they are in reporting the news.
Look at the vague headline about enhanced police presence in the area where Freddie Gray was arrested that Mosby herself requested at the AP story by Juliet Linderman:

Despite the fact that Chafee is no longer a member of the GOP, the journalist repeatedly hyped his former status. She recounted, "In 2004, when President George W. Bush was running for re-election as president there was one…

When it comes to the phrasing of a message, two words can make all the difference.
Last week, the CDC made a subtle change in the “Prevention Methods” section of its annual Sexually Transmitted Diseases Treatment report released June 5. Whereas abstinence had once been recommended as “a” reliable way to prevent the transmission of STDs, the report now calls it “the most” reliable way.

Carrying on the media’s continued effort to poke at Christians, Conan O’Brien cracked a joke, suggesting that evangelicals’ supposed intolerance of gay people may be coming to an end: “Across the country, some evangelical groups are starting to take a second look at the Bible’s stance on gay people. Yeah, they're taking a second look at it. They're noting that if you count Joseph and God, Jesus…
