2020 Democratic presidential candidate and impeachment fanatic Tom Steyer joined Tuesday’s edition of Hardball on MSNBC and, while he received plenty of praise from host Chris Matthews, he was strangely hailed by Matthews as a modern day John Brown despite the abolitionist suffering death by hanging in 1859.

The always hyperbolic presidential historian Jon Meacham made an appearance on MSNBC’s Hardball Tuesday, where he weighed in on President Trump’s description of his treatment throughout the impeachment inquiry as a “lynching.” After trashing President Trump as a racist, Meacham proceeded to trash the entire country as racist dating all the way back to its founding. In addition, Meacham compared the testimony of diplomat William Taylor that took place earlier in the day to the testimony of Richard Nixon’s White House Counsel John Dean during the Watergate hearings.

Far-left filmmaker Michael Moore joined MSNBC’s Hardball and host Chris Matthews on Tuesday to not only trumpet his endorsement of Bernie Sanders (despite previous skepticism about the 2020 field) but offer the hideous claim that white Trump voters of all economic stripes are racist on the level of pro-apartheid South Africans. This ugly comparison came about part way through the block thanks to Matthews pondering “why” working class white voters “stick with” President Trump through all the controversies and now impeachment.

In the span of seconds, the A-block panel of Thursday’s Hardball went from collectively laughing out loud about impeachment to then remembering how their side (the far-left) has insisted that impeachment (and what they hope to be the removal) of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will be a somber affair. So much for giving away the game, folks!

For Chris Matthews, impeaching and removing Donald Trump is now a given. The Hardball host on Wednesday moved on to impeaching and removing Mike Pence. Matthews repeatedly pressed his new obsession with Democratic senators and liberal journalists. Talking to Chris Coons, he demanded, “The Vice President now, according to reporting as of tonight, seems to be engaged in the same thing Trump was engaged in, which is basically shaking down a foreign leader to get dirt on a political opponent, the candidate you're supporting, Joe Biden. Shouldn't he be the subject of an impeachment inquiry as well at this point?”

It’s been awhile since our last slideshow, NewsBusters readers. Thankfully, Tuesday’s Hardball on MSNBC came up clutch with reams of liberal nonsense from not just host Chris Matthews, but a cast of characters serving as yes men and women for this pro-impeachment pep rally. From leveling conspiracy theories to engaging in conspiracy theories, it was another case study in Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Leave to a former National Review editor and former RNC chair to lament their former cohorts aren’t doing the supposed right thing.  On Thursday’s Hardball, MSNBC political analysts Robert Costa and Michael Steele pinned blame on a devout affinity to President Trump, a “conservative media complex,” and a love of partisanship on the right for why the Republican Party have refused to join Democrats in their push to impeach and remove Trump.

Chris Matthews has been afflicted by a bad case of political blood lust. Appearing on today's Morning Joe, Matthews twice exulted, "they've got him." Meaning, of course, that the Democrats have what they need to impeach President Trump. Matthews urged his fellow Democrats to join in his rush to judgment: "no more hearings, no more subpoenas, no more contempt citations, no more process." Instead, he counseled the Dems to vote articles of impeachment this fall.

Despite repeated assertions that there is no “glee or joy” in the matter, the mood on Thursday’s Hardball was ebullient as host Chris Matthews and his parade of guests basked in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to have the House drop its charade and admit that they’re looking toward impeaching President Trump.

Speaking on Thursday’s Hardball to Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), kooky MSNBC host Chris Matthews quipped without any reservations that President Donald Trump is so scared of gun control that he compared it to Trump being fearful of...losing his virginity?

Despite the fact that Lewandowski refused to answer a lion’s share of the questioning and squabbled with a few House Democrats on the Oversight Committee, the A-block panel on Tuesday’s Hardball somehow thought the proceedings were a wildly successful exercise for impeachment and shaming those not in the Resistance.

Liberal reporters and hosts have been paving the way for Joe Biden, as they have excused his non-stop gaffes as “endearing” and even “Reagan-esque.” At the same time, they were shocked by the “horror show coming out of Trump’s mouth” as MSNBCers like Chris Matthews and Donny Deutsch compared the President to tyrants like Idi Amin and blamed him for the El Paso shooting. The following is a round-up of the most obnoxious outbursts from liberal journalists and celebrities over the past month.
