During an appearance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night, CNN’s Jake Tapper pushed back against the idea that the media fueled Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and instead stressed that there “is a chicken and egg thing there.”

During the Tuesday edition of MSNBC’s All In, tempers erupted when Republican strategist Rick Wilson told fellow panelists Cornell Belcher and Jess McIntosh of EMILY’s List that Hillary Clinton is campaigning on her gender as a mother/grandmother and despite that, her poll “numbers are cratering” on honesty and trustworthiness.

How’s this for a dose of irony? Dan Rather promoting a movie called Truth that is nothing but a bunch of lies. The former CBS anchorman was on hand this past Saturday at the Toronto Film Festival where he praised Robert Redford who stars as Rather in a film that depicted a 2004 controversy that would later become known as Rathergate.

"I think what he did was wrong" but "I also want to have compassion for him, and I don't want to judge him for his mistake," former NBC Meet the Press anchor David Gregory told Yahoo! News Global Anchor Katie Couric earlier today in a live interview. Gregory declined the opportunity to say whether he thought it was right of NBC/MSNBC to bring Williams back in an on-air capacity.

Good Morning America’s Tom Llamas on Tuesday happily touted Hillary Clinton’s mocking impression of Donald Trump. The Hill newspaper relayed that London-born actress Emily Blunt says she had second thoughts about becoming an American citizen last month after watching the first Republican presidential debate. “I became an American citizen recently, and that night, we watched the debate and I thought, ‘this was a terrible mistake.
