October 3rd, 2011 10:44 AM
The folks at the Washington Post got exactly what they wanted with Sunday’s racially charged, 3000-word, front page hit piece about Texas governor Rick Perry.
CNN did two segments on N-ggerhead Sunday evening, one with host Don Lemon asking his guests, “Can a candidate recover once they've been associated with a controversy over the word n-gger?” (video follows with transcript and commentary…

The New York Times reported Sunday that Nancy Reagan is "pushing" New Jersey governor Chris Christie to run for president.

Eleanor Clift: President Sent ObamaCare to Supreme Court Because He's
October 2nd, 2011 4:45 PM
Newsweek's Eleanor Clift made a rather shocking prediction on this weekend's "McLaughlin Group."
"Obama’s justice department took the, asked for healthcare ruling from the Supreme Court because they’re nervous that they’re not going to be in office a year and a half from now" (video follows with commentary):
Peggy Noonan: 'A Leader Leads,' Obama's 'Never Been Able To Do It
October 2nd, 2011 3:37 PM
On Sunday's "Meet the Press," Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne wheeled out the typical Democrat talking point that President Obama can't get anything accomplished because of Republican obstructionism in Congress.
Not buying this nonsense was the Wall Street Journal's Peggy Noonan who smartly responded, "A leader leads. Part of the president's problem is that he has never, from day one,…
Tapper’s Liberal Friends Accept Romney, Dionne Sees Liberal Hypocris
October 2nd, 2011 1:39 PM
Three comments that caught my attention on the Sunday morning interview shows:
> ABC News White House reporter Jake Tapper recounted that whenever he has dinner with liberal friends “you can hear them making their peace with Romney,” saying “‘he seems centrist,’ or ‘you know, he’d be good at jobs,’” so “that's a problem for President Obama.”

October 2nd, 2011 11:10 AM
In 2006, the Washington Post lead a racially charged smear campaign against former Senator George Allen (R-Va.) involving the previously unknown word "macaca."
On Sunday, the Post prominently featured a 3000-word, racially charged, front page hit piece involving Texas governor Rick Perry and a decades old bit of graffiti reading "Niggerhead":
No Credit to Perry for Texas Economy, But Lots of Blame for Texas Heal
October 1st, 2011 3:03 PM
The New York Times may not give Texas Gov. Rick Perry credit for his state’s booming economy, but it will certainly attack him for his state’s supposedly awful record on providing health care. Emily Ramshaw reported “Few Bright Spots in Perry’s Health Care Record” for Friday’s edition.
Ramshaw, a reporter for the Texas Tribune, a left-leaning nonprofit news organization based in Austin that…
Mark Shields on Christie's Weight: When You Sit in the Bathtub and Wat
October 1st, 2011 12:20 PM
The juvenile bashing of Chris Christie's weight hit a disgraceful low on PBS's "Inside Washington" Friday when a panel absent the guiding sanity of syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer chuckled and guffawed over the size of the New Jersey governor.
What posterity will certainly view as one of the more embarrassing episodes on this political talk show stalwart came when PBS's Mark Shields…
Kinsley Claims 'Too Fat' Christie Lacks Self-Control To Be President
October 1st, 2011 9:40 AM
Is Michael Kinsley sure he wants to go down this path?
In a Bloomberg View column and then in a clip run on "Good Morning America" today, the liberal pundit claims Chris Christie is "just too fat" to be president. According to Kinsley, Christie's weight is evidence of a lack of the self-control necessary to be an effective president.
If self-control is a key requirement for the…

President Moment-The-Planet-Began-To-Heal: just a regular guy! Let's get the weekend off to a smiling start with this rib-tickler, courtesy Joe Biden. In a fundraising email I just received from the Obama campaign website [of whose email list of course I'm a proud member], good old Joe claimed, with a straight cyber-face:
"This has never been about Barack and me. We're just two guys."

September 30th, 2011 2:26 PM
Stupid white men for the G.O.P.? New York Times White House reporters Jackie Calmes and Mark Landler teamed up for Friday’s front-page campaign preview, “Obama Charts A New Route to Re-election.” In a change from the paper’s standard politically correct approach to race and class, the reporters crudely emphasized that “less-educated, low-income whites” tend to support Republicans. (What…

September 30th, 2011 11:59 AM
Even with efforts by both parties to delay early presidential primaries and caucuses, states trying to exert heavier influence on the primary outcome are again pushing their contests into early January.
Under RNC rules, only Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina are allowed to hold their primaries or caucuses before Super Tuesday. Florida announced earlier today that it will move…

September 30th, 2011 10:28 AM
In the weekly take-down of the liberal media on Fox News Channel's "Hannity" on Thursday, NewsBusters publisher and Media Research Center President Brent Bozell condemned efforts to "demonize the Tea Party, to marginalize the Tea Party, to suggest that the Tea Party's extremist" simply because GOP debate audiences voiced support for the death penalty.
