Gwyneth Paltrow to Sing 'F--k You' on 'Glee'

It was shocking when Hip Hop singer Cee Lo Green's "F--k You" hit YouTube in August getting over 17 million views.

But according to Entertainment Weekly, actress Gwyneth Paltrow is actually going to perform this song when she guest stars on the hit series "Glee" in two weeks (h/t Big Hollywood):

The song is going to be sanitized to “Forget You,” which is so substantially less catchy, and seeing the world’s poshest human sing about not being able to afford a Ferrari will provide some interesting cultural dissonance. But there’s a part of me that thinks this could be kind of adorable?

Kind of adorable? Sanitized as "Forget You" or not, likely every kid in America is going to know what the real lyrics are:

(Chorus)
I see you driving 'round town
With the girl I love and I'm like,
F--k you!
Oo, oo, ooo
I guess the change in my pocket
Wasn't enough I'm like,
F--k you!
And f--k her too!
I said, if I was richer, I'd still be with ya
Ha, now ain't that some s--t? (ain't that some s--t?)
And although there's pain in my chest
I still wish you the best with a...
F--k you!
Oo, oo, ooo

Yeah I'm sorry, I can't afford a Ferrari,
But that don't mean I can't get you there.
I guess he's an xbox and I'm more atari,
But the way you play your game ain't fair.

I pity the fool that falls in love with you
(oh s--t she's a gold digger)
Well
(just thought you should know ni--a)
Ooooooh
I've got some news for you
Yeah go run and tell your little boyfriend

(chorus)

Now I know, that I had to borrow,
Beg and steal and lie and cheat.
Trying to keep ya, trying to please ya.
'Cause being in love with you ass ain't cheap.

I pity the fool that falls in love with you
(oh s--t she's a gold digger)
Well
(just thought you should know ni---a)
Ooooooh
I've got some news for you
I really hate yo ass right now

(chorus)

Now baby, baby, baby, why d'you wanna wanna hurt me so bad?

(so bad, so bad, so bad)
I tried to tell my mamma but she told me
"This is one for your dad"
(your dad, your dad, your dad)
Uh! Whhhy? Uh! Whhhy? Uh!
Whhhy lady? Oh! I love you oh!
I still love you. Oooh!

(chorus)

Ain't that adorable?

This announcement coming roughly a week after some of Glee's female stars posed seductively in their underwear for a GQ shoot, one has to wonder if the popular prime time show is looking to further stretch the decency envelope in order to attract even more viewers.

As one of the highest-rated shows on television, the question is why.

For those that can take it, the vulgarity-laden video of the tune in question is here.

You've been warned.
