ABC News moderator Whoopi Goldberg issued a call to action against President Trump during Tuesday’s episode of The View. She called on Americans to “do something about” Trump before he got the chance to “steal the election” in November. Instead of pushing back, Goldberg received aid in the form of co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin pushing their own claims that the midterm election results couldn’t be trusted if Democrats came up short.
Goldberg’s call to action came in response to Hostin repeating an unsupported accusation she made on Friday, when she asserted that Trump was trying to get ahold of voters’ Social Security Numbers as part of a plot to steal the 2026 midterms:
We’ve talked about this. I think what people don't realize - how much sensitive information there is in those voter rolls. Because he grabbed those Fulton County voter rolls and that was, I think, unconstitutional. But if you look at it - all states take information, you know, various different types - but you have your name, your address, Social Security number, driver's license number, some states collect political party affiliation, phone number, email address, voting history, and how you vote. Do you vote absentee? Do you mail it in. And so, that information, if you want to steal an election, could be very helpful.
“With somebody like him, he will steal the election without that information. I mean, let's be realistic here,” she declared.
Looking to the audience, she then issued her call to action, even affirming it was a call to action: “Listen, if you don't like what you're hearing, you're going to have to do something about it. Because Washington isn't going to do it. It's got to be us. It's got to be the people. Okay, I'm saying that.”
"He will steal the election."

ABC News is now claiming Trump will, without a debt commit crimes during the election and puts out a call to action:

Earlier in their conversation, Behar primed the election denial pump. According to her, if Republicans managed to somehow hold on to control of the House, it would be evidence that Republicans cheated since that was “the only way” they could win (an accusation she's leveled against the right many times before). She also predicted Trump would be “indicted” if he lost:
BEHAR: Look what’s happened in Texas. I mean, a Democrat won a seat there that he won by 17 points. So, the Republicans are very nervous now that they're going to lose the election. So, the only way he can win, I guess, if he cheats.
SUNNY HOSTIN: Yeah.
BEHAR: Because he's very nervous about losing the election because he's been --
SARA HAINES: He should be used to it by now. He did lose.
BEHAR: He might be indicted. Am I right? He could be indicted?
HOSTIN: Well, that – that – that – he could be impeached. But I – I will say --
Joy Behar claims Trump is going to steal the midterm elections, claims he's going be "indicted" if he loses, then hints that the Epstein files have evidence he committed crimes against children. pic.twitter.com/UHhKR07GX7

Behar interrupted Hostin to claim – without evidence – that the Epstein Files had the dirt on Trump: "And there are the Epstein files like you mentioned which are really -- that' getting very, very hot right now. And I think he's really very scared. I do.:
This was the latest instance of The View using what appeared to be inciting rhetoric against the Trump administration.
