The View Bashes 'Radicalized’ Service Members Who Watch Fox News

In the wake of Fox News’s defamation settlement with Dominion Voting Systems on Wednesday, the vicious liberals of ABC’s The View lashed out and bashed America’s brave men and women in the armed services for daring to watch Fox News on base, even going so far as the call them “racialized” dangers to the country.

During their opening segment where the cast whined about the settlement and said the $787.5 million payout was not enough, co-host Joy Behar proclaimed that “If Rupert [Murdoch] wanted to maintain any integrity, he would fire Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson – what’s his name, Sean Hannity.”

Specifically targeting Carlson, Behar called him “a sick pathological liar that cannot be controlled.” And rhetorically sneered at his viewers, suggesting, “His audience likes to be lied to.” “You know that song; tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies,” she began to crudely sing.

Shifting her ire to our service members, Behar warned that “Fox is broadcasted on military bases.” She tried to couch her demand to censor Fox News on military bases by repeatedly shouting: “Those are tax-funded facilities. They should not be broadcasting lies to our military. We are paying for that.”

“Those boys and girls are going out there, defending this country, risking their lives, and they’re being fed lies on a regular basis! That needs to be changed immediately!” she insisted, urging the elimination of their right to watch what they want.

Taking things to a darker place, racist co-host Sunny Hostin more directly accused those service members of being an existential threat to the country. “And by the way, being radicalized. Being radicalized by what they're hearing and what they’re listening [too],” she insisted.

She then voiced her disgust with family members who purportedly watch Fox News and moved out of New York State:

I mean, I have family members that watch Fox News exclusively. And I’ve admitted this before. I hate to admit it but I admit it. And the facts they try to tell me is just – is just lies. Just unbelievable but they believe it. I have family members that have moved out of the country – out of New York because they believe some of the lies.

This wasn’t the first time these two tag-teamed to disparage our service members. Just last month, Behar voiced her alarm at how, “They also broadcast Fox News a lot on military bases, in airports you see it a lot. So, the proliferation of the lies is going out to places that it should not.” Meanwhile, Hostin added that “all of the armed forces” were filled to the brim with “white supremacists.”

Of course, this conversation happened as they were having the insane conversation about how Fox needed to be prosecuted by the Justice Department for “recruiting domestic terrorists.”

Responding to Behar’s demand for firings at Fox News, moderator Whoopi Goldberg lamented: “But Rupert is not going to do that.” “I wanted them to have to say, ‘We lied. And we knew we were lying but we lied anyway,’” she added.

Meanwhile, The View continued to proudly be a home for 2016 election lies.

The View’s disdain for service members who watch Fox News was made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from Chewy and Nature’s Bounty. Their contact information is linked.

JOY BEHAR: If Rupert wanted to maintain any integrity, he would fire Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson – what’s his name, Sean Hannity.

SUNNY HOSTIN: Yes! That would send a real message.

BEHAR: Fire them all. Maria Bartiromo.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: But Rupert is not going to do that. I don't understand – I understand there's a lot coming down the pike, but I don't like the idea that they don't have to say it out loud. I don't like that you're hoping people will read the deposition. I wanted them to have to say, “We lied. And we knew we were lying but we lied anyway.”

BEHAR: They know they were lying, the lawsuit was pending, and Tucker Carlson continued to lie about January 6. Through all this entire time, he's still on the air lying that it was just some tourist event that went on that day. So, he's like a sick – a sick pathological liar that cannot be controlled. The audience loves to be – His audience likes to be lied to. You know that song; tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.

[Laughter]

And the other thing. One more point, you know that Fox is broadcasted on military bases. Now, that is a tax-funded facility. Those are tax-funded facilities. They should not be broadcasting lies to our military. We are paying for that. Those boys and girls are going out there, defending this country, risking their lives, and they’re being fed lies on a regular basis! That needs to be changed immediately!

HOSTIN: And by the way, being radicalized. Being radicalized by what they're hearing and what they’re listening – I mean, I have family members that watch Fox News exclusively. And I’ve admitted this before. I hate to admit it but I admit it. And the facts they try to tell me is just – is just lies. Just unbelievable but they believe it.
