Schultz: I'll Make Mike Pence 'Pray To The Porcelain God'

December 1st, 2010 8:07 PM

Just when you thought Ed Schultz couldn't get any grosser . . .

On his MSNBC show this evening, Schultz bragged that by the time he was done with Mike Pence, the GOP congressman from Indiana would be "praying to the porcelain god."

Schultz made his vulgar boast in a tease for a subsequent "Psycho Talk" segment in which the MSNBC host took Pence to task for suggesting that Joe the Plumber had it right in 2008.

We can imagine that—far from embracing the bowl—Mike Pence is laughing at Ed . . . and thanking him for the free plug.   Here's Ed, who—as you'll note—commits yet another gaffe, calling Pence "Senator" before a producer in his ear presumably corrects his latest bungle.

ED SCHULTZ: Coming up, Senator Mike Pence--Congressman Mike Pence--is looking to Joe the Plumber for advice on the economy. This guy Pence is clogged up with nothing but Psycho Talk. Well you know what?  He's going to be praying to the porcelain god when I'm done with him in the Zone.

Nota Bene: Pence wasn't a guest on the show.  Schultz merely played a video clip of the congressman.   Cheap valor, bragging of reducing someone to the bowl when you're not confronting him man-to-man.
