Reid Passes Off Dem Activist as Local Radio Host to Smear DeSantis

On Tuesday’s The ReidOut, MSNBC host Joy Reid attempted to pass off Roberto Rodriguez Tejera, a well-known left-wing Democrat Party activist in South Florida as an objective Spanish radio host. According to a source who spoke to our colleagues at MRC Latino on the condition of anonymity, Rodriguez Tejera is paid by the Democratic Party a “monthly sum for alleged advertising for a weekly show on Actualidad Radio 1040 AM.”

During a segment on the topic of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis flying migrants to the white elite liberal enclave of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, Reid read from some reactions online to DeSantis sending migrants north.

“I'm fascinated to know what the chatter is inside of Florida,” Reid said. “State Senator Shevrin Jones tweeted ‘you can't go any lower than this. Ron DeSantis didn't see those individuals as people. He sees them as things from his political point. Florida is the laughingstock of the nation once again all for the wrong reasons.’”

Reid didn’t disclose that Shevrin Jones is a Democrat State Senator in Florida which makes her criticism of DeSantis irrelevant to the discussion of whether voters in Florida disapprove of his migrant shipments.

Turning to her next point, Reid claimed “this is unusual given what I know Florida politics.” adding that “a south Florida radio host on Spanish language radio whose name is Roberto Rodriguez Tejera said this, truly this is criminal.”

Continuing to read from the comments he reportedly made on his radio show, she said “they're using human beings to advance political points of view. Condemned him and compared DeSantis to Fidel Castro.”

What Reid didn’t tell you is Roberto Rodriguez Tejera is not simply a south Florida radio host, he’s a well-known Democrat Party activist.

According to a source who spoke to MRC Latino on the condition of anonymity, "Roberto Rodriguez is a known Democratic activist, the Democratic party pays him a monthly sum for alleged advertising for a weekly show on Actualidad Radio 1040 AM and for segments with RoRo, as he is known in Democrat circles. He served as director of Radio and TV Martí under a Democrat administration."

Rodriguez Tejera’s bio on the radio station Actualidad Radio 1040 AM doesn’t disclose that his show is paid for by the Democrat Party.

According to Google translate his bio simply advertises his radio show and refers to him as “one of the journalists in the south of our state with the most knowledge of local politics. With over 25 years of media work, he is definitely a newsman.”

Reid is known for being dishonest but she’s not shy about her leftist views. In fact, she’s proud of them. So the question is why did she feel it wasn’t important to disclose that Rodriguez Tejera is a leftist?

The real reason is Reid wanted her viewers to think a south Florida radio host is turning on DeSantis. The Democrat Party is losing ground in that part of the state so Reid wanted to make it seem like the tide is turning. MSNBC and Joy Reid especially, can’t be trusted to tell the truth about anything.

This latest example of the media passing off Democrat Party activists as neutral observers were made possible by Salonpas. Their information is linked.

JOY REID: Fernand, let me bring you in here. I'm fascinated to know what the chatter is inside of Florida. State Senator Shevrin Jones tweeted you can't go any lower than this. Ron DeSantis didn't see those individuals as people. He sees them as things in his political point. Florida is the laughingstock of the nation once again all for the wrong reasons.

This is unusual given what I know Florida politics. A south Florida radio host on Spanish language radio who’s name is Roberto Rodriguez Tejera said this, truly this is criminal. They're using human beings to advance political points of view. Condemned him and compared DeSantis to Fidel Castro. What are people saying inside the state about this scheme?
