Sunny Hostin Calls for Open, Andor-Style 'Rebellion' to Fight Trump, GOP

During an episode of the Behind the Table podcast, The View co-host Sunny Hostin called for the formation of a rebellion and a true resistance to fight Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

Hostin expressed frustration with mainstream Democrats, stating that they are bringing knives to gunfights and failing to match the political energy of their opponents.

The call for a rebellion was inspired by a discussion with executive producer Brian Teta about the Disney sci-fi series Andor, which depicts violent efforts to overthrow an empire.

Hostin also claimed that voting rights are under attack in the American South, comparing recent Supreme Court decisions on partisan gerrymandering to a new Jim Crow era.

Saturday Night Live Claims Trump Wishes For Vance's Death

The season finale of Saturday Night Live featured Weekend Update anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che targeting Vice President JD Vance with jokes focused on death and assassination.

During the broadcast, Colin Jost claimed that Donald Trump keeps a letter in the Resolute Desk addressed to Vance that simply reads that he wishes Vance had been the one to die.

The show also included political commentary from Michael Che regarding U.S. war reparations to Iran and criticisms surrounding the Supreme Court.

According to the article, the finale capped off a season where 91 percent of the political jokes told by the Weekend Update anchors targeted conservatives.

Democrat Voters Support 'Retaliatory' Gerrymandering

A new Economist and YouGov national survey reveals that 56 percent of Kamala Harris voters believe it is justified to gerrymander in one state to retaliate against other states that do the same.

The poll highlights a bipartisan consensus that gerrymandering is a problem, with 92 percent of total citizens agreeing that intentionally drawing legislative districts to favor one political party is problematic.

Democrats and Independents show a higher level of concern regarding the issue, with 89 percent of Harris voters labeling gerrymandering a major problem compared to 60 percent of Donald Trump voters.

Despite acknowledging it as a major problem, self-identified Democrats and Harris voters support retaliatory district drawing at significantly higher rates than Republicans and Independents.

Female Officer Suspended After Objecting to Male in Her Locker Room

Norfolk Police Department Officer Meghan Grabow was suspended after objecting to a biological male recruit being permitted to use the female locker room.

A male officer named Martin Powers spoke up in support of Grabow's privacy concerns and was subsequently terminated from the department.

Superiors instructed Grabow to use female pronouns for the biological male recruit and suggested that she should take her gun into the shower if she felt unsafe.

The transgender-identified recruit ultimately dropped out of the police academy before officially becoming an officer, yet the disciplinary actions against the objecting officers remain in place.
