'SNL' Fake-News Anchor Admits He Wants Trump In Jail, Doesn't Care If He's Guilty

Due process has become a thing of the past in the minds of the liberal media. During the "fake news" Weekend Update segment on the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live, fake anchor Michael Che conceded the banality of the impeachment inquiry hearings. “That impeachment hearing was crazy. I was watching it at home like we were supposed to and I was like whaa? I didn't watch it per se, but I got the gist of it just now when you was talking about it.”

The moment of truth came when Che confirmed the sentiment that likely many Americans watching television today believe to be true, which is that so long as the accused is President Trump (or any other conservative), facts are an afterthought:

Can I be honest? I don't think I care if Donald Trump is actually guilty. I just want something to happen to him. Okay, hypothetically, if you found out for a fact that Donald Trump was actually innocent, but they were sending him to jail anyway, would you mind? See, I wouldn't mind.”

Of course, why would one make such a statement if there were no doubts as to guilt? Perhaps Che was admitting the lack of corroborating evidence to convict President Trump of an impeachable offense.

It's ironic that the very people who repeat the talking point of “no one is above the law,” are the ones who champion the destruction of due process.
