Krauthammer Blasts ‘Greek God’ Obama for Attacking Fox Over Poverty

On Wednesday’s Special Report with Bret Baier, FNC’s Charles Krauthammer slammed President Obama for attacking Fox News’ at an event on poverty at Georgetown University.

The Fox News contributor blasted Obama for “letting us know that his arrogance knows no limits. Of course he wants a change in coverage, particularly the coverage of himself.”

Krauthammer noted how in ‘08 Obama was “considered a Greek god in 2008, and right now people are actually judging him on the merits. He doesn't like that.” He then hit Obama’s “arrogance” for demanding the media and politicians change their views on poverty to align with his:

He has the arrogance to say not only that the media have to change, but he also said within one day John Boehner has to change, Mitch McConnell has to change, the media have to change, Elizabeth Warren has to change. There is only one person on the firmament who doesn't have to change, and that's Barack Obama because he has achieved Olympian greatness, omniscience.

And, you know, given his record, having left a shambles of foreign policy, the worst recovery since the Second World War, he seems impervious to empirical evidence. The same view he had of himself upon obtaining the presidency he has today, and he is shocked, shocked, that the media won't bend a knee to him as they did in unison in 2008.

During an earlier appearance with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Krauthammer said the president’s attack on Fox was “pathological Obama” and that the president lives in a “mythical world.”

CHRIS WALLACE: Kevin Corke asking White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest today about President Obama's criticism of the way media covers issues of poverty. We're back now with our panel. When the president says, quote, "We have to change the way the media reports on these issues," Charles, what's he saying?

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Well, he is letting us know that his arrogance knows no limits. Of course he wants a change in coverage, particularly the coverage of himself. After all, he was considered a Greek god in 2008, and right now people are actually judging him on the merits. He doesn't like that.
