Left-wing group Bend the Arc: Jewish Action went on a Twitter rampage over Sen. Lindsey Graham’s, (R-SC), criticism of a group of freshman legislators as anti-Semitic. Bend the Arc is the result of a merger of The Progressive Jewish Alliance and Jewish Funds for Justice which joined forces in 2011. It was founded and funded by George Soros’ son Alexander Soros.
Newly released financial documents showed Former Vice President Joe Biden earned $15.6 million since he left office in 2016. Being rich in an era of left-wing anger toward the wealthy, might hurt his ‘Middle-Class Joe’ persona. Leave it to a CNN columnist to rush to Biden’s rescue.
Liberal billionaire and former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg just gained two new Instagram fans: Britain’s Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The liberal media usually take aim at the libertarian Koch brothers, but now that they’ve launched a venture with George Soros, there’s been an about-face.
One of the biggest Democratic donors announced he’ll join the already-crowded field for president to “take democracy back from corporations and special interests.” Oh, the hypocrisy. California billionaire Tom Steyer spent millions as his very own special interest, trying to install liberals who would battle climate change, and then trying to secure a Democratic majority to impeach President Donald Trump. And he’s often had the media’s help to do it.
The liberal media don’t want to give President Donald Trump positive coverage on anything, including the economy. The New York Times’ reluctance was obvious as it downplayed the June jobs report which smashed expectations with 224,000 jobs. The Times quickly tamped down any economic enthusiasm.
There is nothing more ironic than liberals celebrating liberal billionaires. In this case, The Hollywood Reporter has named Univision owners and liberal mega-donors Haim and Cheryl Saban as their Philanthropists of the Year. According to The Hollywood Reporter’s special feature in Billboard’s recent June 29 issue, “On July 10, Cheryl and Haim Saban will be honored as THR’s most generous power couple, their philanthropy priorities enrich Los Angeles’ cultural and civic vitality, promote healthcare access and research, strengthen the US-Israel relationship, and empower women and girls.”
It appears that liberal billionaire largess just isn’t going to be enough to prop up The Center for American Progress’s propaganda arm, ThinkProgress. The Daily Beast broke the news story, reporting “Staff were informed on Monday afternoon that the site would be sold off and a CAP official told The Daily Beast that the organization would begin looking for prospective buyers for the website, which has come under severe financial strains during the Trump era.”
The GOP has rolled out WinRed, a digital fundraising platform counterpart to the Democratic online GoFundMe ActBlue in an attempt to attract low-dollar digital donors. Will it work? Lefty media sources aren’t sure. NPR, in collaboration with the George Soros-funded Center for Public Integrity, questioned the latest Republican attempt to match ActBlue’s behemoth capabilities. “Republicans have repeatedly tried and failed to harness online political contributions as effectively as Democrats have with the ActBlue fundraising platform, which has been around since 2004,” NPR said.
Did Tom Steyer watch the same Democratic debates everyone else did? If so, the left-wing billionaire is putting lipstick on that big, loud, unruly pig. Steyer tweeted, “The #DemDebate shows that we can strive for better than Donald Trump and his enablers. We must restore dignity and honor to the presidency––not just by winning in 2020, but by impeaching @realdonaldtrump.”
When liberal donor George Soros and several other liberal billionaires called for a wealth tax, the media swooned. Soros, Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes, heiress Abigail Disney and 15 others wrote an open letter calling on presidential candidates to adopt a wealth tax on the top 1/10 of 1 percent.
