As Republicans get set to vote on a bill to repeal and replace ObamaCare, expect the liberal media to continue their efforts to derail any plan with distortions, lies and dire predictions that the bill will hurt and even kill many Americans. The following are just a few of the most obnoxious attacks, from the last few weeks, on the GOP’s efforts to repeal and replace ObamaCare:
A crazed leftist attempts to kill Republicans on a baseball field, a local candidate beats up a reporter, and an increase in traffic deaths. What do these all have in common? Liberal journalists managed to blame all of these incidents on President Donald Trump. The following is a collection of worst media and celebrity outbursts from the past few weeks.
It’s not just the press that are freaked out by Donald Trump. Talk show hosts and celebrities from Stephen Colbert to Robert DeNiro, Katy Perry and Rosie O’Donnell are losing their minds over the new president: DeNiro claimed Trump was worse than con-man Bernie Madoff: “He’s a pig”; Perry whined that Trump’s election brought “a lot of trauma for me”; Colbert infamously characterized Trump’s relationship with Vladimir Putin in the most obscene terms; and O’Donnell sounded like she was fomenting a revolution: “We have never had this kind of treasonous madness in power before. Desperate times - desperate measures.”
Donald Trump’s first year in office isn’t even half over but the liberal media is ready to bury it. Journalists went crazy over the James Comey dismissal with constant comparisons to Watergate. CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin called it “A grotesque abuse of power...the kind of thing that goes on in non-democracies.” MSNBC’s Chris Matthews opined that the move had a “whiff of fascism.” His colleague Mika Brzezinski went as far as to declare the Trump administration “over.”
Roger Ailes was a media pioneer and a gifted political strategist, whose death leaves a large void in the journalism and political worlds. As the Media Research Center President Brent Bozell respectfully observed “The Left would command a monopoly control of the so-called ‘news’ media but for the Fox News Channel, and FNC would not exist but for him. The good Roger did for America is immeasurable.” It was Ailes’s creation of FNC that cracked the media elite’s monopoly on news that caused many liberal journalists to spew hate against the man, within just hours of his passing. The following are just some of the media’s most spiteful and hateful attacks on Roger Ailes.
Time to send out the waahmbulance for the press because they just can’t stop whining about Donald Trump. President Trump’s pushback against the unfair liberal media has journalists from DC to New York throwing hissy fits. CNN’s Brian Stelter called Trump’s criticisms of the press “poisonous” “attacks” that are “dangerous for the country.” His colleague Jim Acosta claimed Trump was doing “real damage to the First Amendment” and the New York Times Executive Editor Dean Baquet called the President “dangerous.”
From questioning Donald Trump’s patriotism and mental stability to griping about the GOP Congress’s “hard-hearted” budget and “drive-by” hit of a health care plan the liberal media have been going through their own version of March Madness this month. The following is a collection of just some the most over-the-top liberal media outbursts from the past month.
We are going into the third month of the Donald Trump presidency and the media are still having full-blown panic attacks over him. The New York Times’ Thomas Friedman was so terrified by Trump’s early morning tweeting that he suggested that the “nuclear codes” be taken away from the President. MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski moaned: “We are at a low point in American history....We are all really nervous. So, if people out there feel nervous, we do, too.” The following is a compilation of the most recent and ridiculous media meltdowns over Trump:
Donald Trump’s term in office is only four-weeks old but he’s got the liberal media and Hollywood losing their collective minds. It’s hard to keep track of all the nasty accusations they’ve made. The following is a collection of the 26 worst outbursts by liberal journalists and celebrities made against Trump’s presidency from his first four weeks in office.
Forget a honeymoon. The liberal media started savaging President Donald Trump even before he was sworn-in. On the day before his Inauguration, MSNBC host Chris Matthews was scared by Trump’s access to nuclear weapons as he screeched: “It’s horrible but it’s real.” On the morning of the swearing-in ceremony, ABC’s Matthew Dowd claimed the country’s mood was “more akin to where we were in 1861 and how divided the country is.” The following are the worst attacks on Trump, so far, since his Inauguration week:
In the last week the liberal media have been coming to grips with the end of the Barack Obama administration, as they’ve thrown a few last bouquets at the feet of their hero. From The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank wistfully wondering “For a man who achieved so much, Obama...must be wondering where the gratitude is?” to one last thrill for Chris Matthews “To say that no person can make a difference, I give you the fine case of that fine man, Barack Obama” the following is a collection of the media’s melancholic goodbyes to Obama.
With the Democratic Party defeated, ObamaCare set for repeal, and incoming President Donald Trump poised to revoke a host of his executive orders, Obama’s actual legacy will likely fall far short of what his media fan club once imagined. But one aspect of his place in history seems secure: Barack Obama has been the lucky recipient of more biased, positive “news” media coverage than any other President in history.
