The View hosts briefly talked with 2020 Democrat candidate Mayor Pete Buttigieg on Friday’s show about his performance at last night’s debate. Co-host Joy Behar praised the Democrat while encouraging him to mock the right as ignorant to the virtues of “Democratic Socialism.”

Former Republican Governor of New Jersey and ABC News contributor Chris Christie appeared on The View Friday to analyze last night’s Democratic debate. However, the liberal hosts were more interested in attacking him for working for the Trump administration. The segment ended in a total meltdown from each of the hosts, ranting and raving over how awful the president is.

Democrat 2020 candidate and former Obama cabinet member Julián Castro came on ABC’s The View Thursday following last night’s Democratic debate, to receive softballs and high praise from the liberal hosts. While Meghan McCain pressed him on his support for open borders, co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar lavished praise on his performance and didn’t critique any of his far-left policies.

Co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar are no strangers to hyperbole and dramatics on The View. After Behar said Trump was on his way to exterminating illegal immigrants last week, Whoopi claimed that Trump was on his way to criminalizing and exterminating gay people on Wednesday’s show.

When you are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome it’s hard to remember some basic facts. Co-host of The View, Joy Behar, forgot that Norway is on another continent on Tuesday’s show, when she asked if kids from “Norway” would be treated the same at border facilities.

Joy Behar defended Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on The View Wednesday, after the Democrat called ICE detention centers, “concentration camps.” Behar stood out from the rest of the hosts in agreeing with Ocasio-Cortez’s loaded assessment of President Trump's immigration policies, even suggesting that America was on the way to its own Holocaust.

The hosts of The View saved time to bash White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders on Monday’s show, after she announced last week that she would be leaving her post at the end of the month. Whoopi and Joy Behar reveled in the news, mocking her while Sunny Hostin took a more dramatic tone, blasting Sanders as a liar who had forever tainted the position.  

Former Maryland Congressman John Delaney was on The View Thursday, joining the crowd of Democrat presidential candidates who have come on the show. Despite espousing many typical liberal, big government policies, he framed himself as a centrist Democrat, noting areas where his party was being extreme, fiscally. Friday on The View, the liberal hosts took offense at the Wall Street Journal suggesting Joe Biden’s popularity in the 2020 race meant that Americans didn’t want a “far-left” Democrat. Sometimes you really have to wonder if the hosts of The View actually listen to anything coming out of their mouths. On Thursday’s show alone, the hosts politicized D-Day numerous times, connecting it to gay pride month in one segment, and in another segment, tying it to the southern border crisis. All morning Wednesday, ABC was promoting the dystopian feminist show on Hulu, The Handmaid’s Tale, with its star, actress Elizabeth Moss, appearing both on Good Morning America and The View to promote its third season. Both ABC shows immediately tried to tie recent statewide abortion bans to the patriarchal dystopia warned about in the fictional show.

Not surprisingly, David Letterman’s appearance on The View Friday quickly devolved into Trump bashing. Letterman reminisced about Trump’s many appearances on his show as a private citizen and talked about how “he seemed like a guy” back then, as opposed to now, where he has become a “goon.”

The hosts of The View spent last Friday defending House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and made a repeat performance on this Friday’s show, after Democrats and the media pressured her to start impeachment proceedings. The hosts took turns between fawning over Pelosi and then ranting that the “criminal in the White House” needed to be impeached.
