The View returned Tuesday for its 25th season without any conservative co-host, so the table was in agreement most of the show. When the topic of Texas’s SB8 fetal heartbeat law came up, each of the liberal women tore into it, with Joy Behar pretending she works for MSNBC, calling Republicans America’s Taliban.

The liberal hosts of The View vehemently defended Vice President Kamala Harris after her approval ratings plummeted in recent polls. Even though President Biden’s ratings have similarly dropped, co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin gave Harris the easy way out, chalking up her unpopularity to the fact that she’s a black woman.

In a shocking moment of solidarity, each of the hosts of The View hailed the protests that broke out in Cuba over the weekend, as Cubans took to the streets to rally against their communist government’s oppressive regime.  But like the networks did this morning, Joy Behar tried to use these protests as a way to bash Republicans.

If you can believe it, it looks like The View will be even more of a liberal echo chamber pretty soon. After rumors leaked overnight, co-host Meghan McCain confirmed today that she was leaving the show at the end of the season. 

Just days before the Fourth of July, the leftist hosts on ABC’s The View rushed to defend athlete Gwen Berry for turning her back as the national anthem played following a U.S. Olympic trial competition. Co-host Joy Behar hailed Berry for “doing her patriotic duty” while fellow co-host Whoopi Goldberg argued that listening to the Star-Spangled Banner was “tough to take.”

ABC’s The View went into the weekend on Friday with another day of complaining, griping about how Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is the bane of our democracy’s existence for not caving to Democrats while leading a party that hated clean air and drinking water and Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), who’s apparently a racist because he opposes the For the People Act.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is under renewed scrutiny after a Freedom of Information Act released thousands of his emails from the early days of the pandemic, raising questions about Fauci’s cozy relationship with China and conflicting messaging on masks, among other controversies. But Fauci’s friends at The View refused to criticize the public figure, and attacked Republicans, instead.

The liberal media is in love with a Dallas high school student who used her valedictorian speech to wail about a Texas law restricting abortions. Of course, the hosts of The View were enamored as well with the “brave” teen "making a stand” holding up "democracy" and “speaking truth to power” ie: the Republican party.

Former MSNBC Hardball host Chris Matthews made his media rounds on The View Wednesday, to plug his new book and comment on the current news cycle. Unlike most liberal guests on the show, Matthews faced an awkward combination of confrontational and friendly questions.
