CBS senior White House and national correspondent Ed O’Keefe traveled to Alabama on Thursday for CBS Mornings to cover that state’s redistricting efforts after the Supreme Court’s recent ruling on majority-minority districts. According to O’Keefe, the battle was between those who are fighting to maintain the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement and power-hungry Republicans.

After the Supreme Court’s ruling in Louisiana v. Callis, which found that states could not draw congressional maps based on race, the network Thursday morning shows of ABC, CBS, and NBC took the moment to parrot the Democratic Party’s views on the ruling as the reporter’s news packages focused on the backlash.

Vice President JD Vance took to the White House Briefing Room podium Thursday afternoon to answer questions about Wednesday’s deadly ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis, but not before launching into one of multiple take downs for the “irresponsible” liberal media outlets acting as “agents of propaganda” and “lying about” both the ICE officer and the facts borne out in multiple videos.

On Monday at Mar-a-Lago, President Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about several issues including the cease fire in Gaza, and the missile threat from Iran. While all three networks went hard in the paint Wednesday morning against President Trump and painted the economy as in turmoil, ABC’s Good Morning America was particular vicious with an entirely negative story and zero recognition of how economic indicators have improved vis-à-vis the Biden economy.
