On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough argues that the leaker of the draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade was likely a "fanatical" right-wing law clerk, or Ginni Thomas, the wife of Justice Clarence Thomas. 

Democrats like to complain that as president, Donald Trump sought to politicize the Justice Department. But on MSNBC Saturday morning, a blatant appeal was made to Biden's Justice Department, and its Attorney General Merrick Garland, to "help" Democrats win the midterms by indicting Trump and Republican congressmen. It doesn't get much more politicized than that!

On Friday morning, MSNBC host Katy Tur and contributor Geoff Bennett lamented that President Joe Biden is reluctant to spend even more federal money by going along with forgiving student debt -- a move many Democrats hope will boost them with young voters in this year's elections.

On his Friday CNN show, Don Lemon and correspondent Leyla Santiago condemned Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for banning math textbooks that contained Critical Race Theory. When giving examples, including a bar graph alleging conservatives are more racist than liberals, it was still DeSantis that was accused of culture warring.

On CNN's New Day, political analyst Chris Cillizza says Democrats are in "revolt" against a "directionless" and "listless" Joe Biden. He says that, looking ahead to the midterms, the situation at the border bodes "nothing good" for the Democrats. Cillizza concludes by saying that there is "a really bad political climate for Democrats."

The “stripper with a heart of gold” storyline can be compelling, but it does require some evidence that the stripper actually has a heart.
