January 22nd, 2022 3:43 PM

The New York Times covered the 2022 annual pro-life March for Life rally in Saturday’s edition: “March for Life Rally Unfolds with Eye on Supreme Court” reported by Kate Zernike (back with a byline after a long absence) and Madeleine Ngo. The March for Life, which takes place every year in late January, around the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade that…

Irony: NYT Frets Over Media Censorship in Serbia, Cheers U.S. Big Tech

January 18th, 2022 9:21 AM

The New York Times is concerned about media censorship and bias -- in Serbia. “Eastern Europe Tests New Forms of Media Censorship,” by Andrew Higgins from Belgrade, appeared in Monday’s paper and it was both ironic and rich to see the Times devote 1,500 words to a story of how governments in Serbia, Poland, and Hungary are leaning on independent media outlets that don’t toe…

NYT Embraces Avenatti’s Jail Claims, Ignored Those of Capitol Rioters

January 14th, 2022 7:17 PM

It’s clear the New York Times is selectively concerned about jail conditions for politically controversial inmates and defendants -- depending on whether they are pro- or anti- Donald Trump. Michael Avenatti, the former media hero turned disgraced anti-Trump lawyer who also crusaded against now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh, was tried and convicted for trying to extort Nike out of $25…

CNN Fact-Checker Dings 'Right-Wing' for Misinformation Sparked By ABC

January 12th, 2022 5:51 PM

On Wednesday’s CNN Newsroom, purported CNN “fact-checker” Daniel Dale was a little irked by some naughty “right-wing commentators” and “people on the right” for spreading misinformation around the internet about COVID-19 deaths and comorbidities. But the kicker is that the misinformation originally started with a piece of video poorly edited and aired by ABC News during last Friday’s…

Nutty NYT Tells ‘Dangerous’ Pros: Cease Dissent, Get With Vax Program

January 8th, 2022 3:40 PM

Innocent readers of the sports section of Friday’s New York Times were treated to reporter Matthew Futterman’s judgmental hysteria over vaccines in his story on the controversial case of #1 ranked tennis star Novak Djokovic, who may be denied his chance to defend his Australian Open title for not being vaccinated against Covid. The headline was an eyeroll in itself: “Modern Grudge…

Nets Hide Liberal Justice Sotomayor Spreading COVID Misinformation

January 7th, 2022 8:46 PM

On Friday, the liberal broadcast networks and Spanish-language networks (Telemundo & Univision) weren’t interested in showing just how ignorant a liberal Supreme Court justice was when discussing COVID-19. During the Supreme Court’s oral arguments about the vaccine mandates, liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor made multiple hyperbolic and false statements suggesting Omicron was as deadly as…

Column: Do We Need a January 6 News Glut?

January 5th, 2022 6:00 AM

On the cusp of an absolute glut of liberal-media anniversary coverage of the January 6 riot, CNN media reporter Brian Stelter was cranky. “We live in a world where Donald Trump's top supporters malign the media for being ‘obsessed’ with January 6.” He argued anyone who thinks this story is overdone is someone "best explained by psychologists or therapists or algorithm developers."

Scarborough: Testing Not Necessary, So Don't Blame Biden For Botching!

January 3rd, 2022 9:03 AM

Suddenly so forgiving, that Joe Scarborough! On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough admitted that last week, he felt the Biden administration had "terribly botched" things regarding Covid testing. But on second thought . . . nope! Don't blame Biden for botching the availability of testing. Because . . . testing isn't necessary! Opined "Doctor" Scarborough: "You don’t need a test! We have just…

December 31st, 2021 1:05 PM

This was CNN cognitive dissonance on steroids -- with a booster shot of hypocrisy. In its 7 am hour, New Day brought on CNN medical analyst  Dr. Jonathan Reiner who called the Times Square New Year's Eve celebration a potential "superspreader" event that is "completely unnecessary" and "unwise." Reiner called omicron "the most contagious pathogen that any of us have ever seen." And he…

Following four years of combative White House press briefings and showboaters like Jim Acosta and April Ryan becoming Resistance household names, the White House Briefing Room saw a different show in 2021 with Press Secretary Jen Psaki. Often times, one could count on one man to do what Acosta refused to do in respectfully challenging an administration: Fox’s Peter Doocy.

'Kingmaker': Nets Remember Harry Reid as a 'Force of Nature'

December 29th, 2021 12:05 PM

Not a bad word or embarrassing moment was mentioned by the broadcast networks Wednesday morning as they reported on the life and death of former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Instead, they showed him the greatest of reverence as they praised him as a Democratic “kingmaker,” “force of nature,” and a “powerbroker.”
